yes the trip advisor NOT EVEN 2 STAR ranting reviews always make me laugh. A few years back I actually wrote a scathing review on a hotel a went to about the other guests. What lazy, arrogant fuckers they were. All of them moaning about what was a nice hotel and what did they expect for the money. Some weird bloke ran across the restuarant to take a picture of a pile of used plates, presumably to as evidence of what a shit hole it was.

I dont mind basic hotels or fussed about what star they are. Something really authentic about going to a family run, local hotel which is basic. The one we stayed in Kos was only 2 star rated but we had a great time. Much prefer that over a big all inclusive which is identical to 15 others in the chain where you could be anywhere in the world.

which part of Kefalonia was it? Everyone i've spoke to who has been there have loved it, definitely going to get there soon

New guy being hailed as one of the most talented coaches around. Having done a quick search on him he never lasts much more than a year anywhere, apart from one club where he got sacked and rehired a few months later then left at the end of the season after they got relegated. His 'top coaches around" tag seems to be from his last job where he took his team to 6th in the Porteguese league, outside of that his record seems pretty unremarkable to say the least. 6 management jobs in 7 years, quite a few sacking at least one relegation, quite a few winless runs and a win percentage overall of 29%. Cant see this one going well. Oh well.....

It very easy to dismiss it all as people just being racist, that’s a big part of the problem. The UK is on its arse, people are struggling and whilst the country has gone to the gutter we’ve seen a increase in mass immigration, a succession of terror attacks and murders and an increase in diversity and inclusion to the point where if you watch TV you’d think every family in the country was mixed racist with one gay and one disabled person. the whole time the average man on the street is told that theyre the problem I’ve used the example of Bradford in the past. I’ve lived up north for nearly 14 years and people tell me 20 Years ago Bradford was great city, diverse yes, a large Asian community but by and large everyone got on side by side. Now it’s a cesspit over run with drug and grooming gangs, crime is through the roof, it’s filthy and you wouldn’t want to walk anywhere in the city alone at night. If you were a Bradford person who had seen that happen over the last 20 years yet were told nothing was wrong, in facts it’s all wonderful and if you don’t agree it’s your fault and you’re racist to say so I wonder how that would make you feel? it’s easy for middle class people to sit in their comfortable homes dismissing everyone as racist and of course it doesn’t excuse people behaving like morons but maybe there is a bit more to it than “well everyone is racist”
