For Smallbone i dont really get why he seems to the target, he's not the greatest player but he's not bad and does a decent job, plus being "one of our own" you'd think he'd get a bit more slack. People of clubs of Saints size who are desperate to be in the Premier league are the classic Premier League consumer.

My lad had his first training session for his new team last night. He turned up in this season home kit, most of the other lads were in Leeds, Man City or Real Madrid kits, got a few comments like "Southampton" and laughs, then spent the next hour running rings round them at one point rolling the ball back onto his foot flicking it over the defenders head and running round him to collect it the other side, it was glorious to watch 🙂
