Why are Villa wearing that kit? To be fair it’s lovely but why?

How’s Gotzepes new left back looked?

Believe me I live about 15 miles away it is an absolute shit hole. One of the worst cities in the country. Got a few mates from there and they hate it and have all moved out.

It’s a small amount by premier league standards but a decent amount by championship standards, what did we spend last time? Think it was about £18m or so on Charles and Stewart the rest of our signings were loans or frees, so potentially about 1/4 of our pot for next season. By French league 3 standards it’s a huge amount. All on an 18 year old kid where this level, probably the equivalent of national league or league 2, is the highest he’s ever played it. maybe he’s the new Desailly but somehow I think there more chance of him ending up in Turkey and never playing a game for us

they are, they've just pumped €5m into one of their clubs without spending a penny!
-
wonder if this kid will ever play for our first team? It really just sounds like a deal to enable the french club to invest in their squad to get promotion.

oh come on pal, imagine the bantz when someone makes one of those plastic glass towers like they do at the cricket, it'd be one of the maddest things you'd ever seen at soccerball.

ah yes you're correct, i was looking at the wrong thing on transfer market, but still makes him a very large sale for you and for the French 3rd division and 4.5x his market value.

please tell me this is a wind up Southampton FC fans pen poem to Russell Martin | Daily Echo

almost double your biggest ever transfer fee received and one of the top 3 of all time in the French 3rd tier. Should enable you to buy your way up to the 2nd division at least. Used properly should be able to buy a very good set of players for the 2nd division in French football.

The recent "sale" of this French kid to us for €5m is good news for the SR Group. There is virtually no money in French football these days aside from the big clubs so £5m is a huge windwall for Valencieenes. Their biggest ever transfer fee received before this was €3m in 2012. This money would surely enable them to at least buy their way in the second tier, possibly even the top league. Transfer market values Sanda at €800k and the entire Vaelencieenes squad at only €7m with not a single player valued at over €1m. Signing a player from the third tier of French football for a fee so large certainly seems a little unprecedented, whilst €5m is not much by premier league standards It's either the 2nd or 3rd biggest fee ever from a 3rd tier French club. Certainly seems like Valencieenes are also going to benefit from premier league money while it last.

We’ve signed two in this window already what more do you want?!!
-
Yep, hes a young player in his first season in the premier league. He should be playing alongside a good, experienced centre back not stuck alongside crap like Stephens & Bednarek or expecting Wood who is also in his first season to just swim. We did this with Stephens expecting him and Yoshida to step up to replace Fonte and Van Dijk, why do we never learn?
-
I think most people agreed signing him and throwing him into the first team was madness. I know some loons pointed to the fact he'd played for Ireland a few times and one of them was against Portugal but anyone could see depending on a young keeper who'd never played above league one level was mental.

bet you a tenor they dont.
-
that must be why you ignore everyone on here and continue ploughing your lonely furrow.
-
not a selection to trumpet about though.

Just like now I don’t tolerate dickheads or people who give it large and don’t like getting it back.

If only Californians had paid more in taxes it could all have been avoided

At least we get to watch Villa v West Ham tomorrow 🤦🤦🤦

Why are there FA cup games being played tonight?!
-
I’m not really sure what the point of trialling this in birds football is. I can’t imagine the 150 or so people that attend these games will be a fair reflection of a proper game. Guess there is a small chance you might get a couple of angry pint guzzling geezer birds lobbing their cider at each other from across the stands.

Anyone else hoping Elon and Donnie can get us some nice spring weather like the last time they were in charge?
