  1. You’d have thought he’d learn not to do this again after spurs handed us our arses playing that way last season
  2. #proveninthechampionship
  3. MLG asked “Is it not worth trying to reduce such numbers of people dying over the next few months?” to what number?
  4. Yes obviously we have some money or we’d be bankrupt 🙄 you bored today Matthew?
  5. What is the minimum number you’d accept? Given our friend above said one is too many, so that’s you’re starting point
  6. Yes it is. Also look at the accounts. It’s all relevant.
  7. How Much do you think it would cost to buy the land and build a conference centre?
  8. Not going to happen though is it. It’s here to stay, got to live with it and accept people are going to get ill.

    Coronavirus

All the talk on every news channel this morning has been how 2 doses are not enough, get your booster, omicron is doubling every couple of days, it’s a race against the clock, the government may bring in more restrictions tagged on at the end.
  10. We dont have a pot to piss in, they’re not going to start throwing up convention centres all over the place. Cortese never proposed anything. A few exited morons got themselves at it over a few drawing that came out but it was all pie in the sky talk much like our unstoppable March to the champions league with our team of academy graduates
  11. Yep our local pub has started to do “vegan food”. A frigging veggie burger with batter on it and chips, probably one of the most unhealthy things they can do. Also all the meat free stuff that looks and tastes like meat. Laughable really. Like you say a lot of it is common sense but it’s amazing how lazy people are and will stick a pizza in the oven for 15 minutes rather than cook something healthy in the same time.
  12. Remember the days when Guinness were going to sponsor them and paint them to look like a pint of it.
  13. Whilst I find many vegans odious self righteous tossers you can’t deny there is something in it and more and more evidence seems to be appearing that certainly a highly plant based diet is the way to go. I listened to a pod cast recently where a doctor visited studies the 6 places in the world with the highest life expectancy and one thing they all had in common was a 90%+ plant based diet. I don’t think cutting out all meat is needed but reducing that and dairy eat more fish, more fruit, veg and try to avoid all vegetable oils and processed food is definitely the way forward.

I remember you posting about it and that you had some small hope around the time Greg Gilbert died. Terrible time for you and family. So sorry to hear of your loss.
  15. Incorrect. They absolutely have to get 40 points or they are done for and definitely going down. They still need 20 points from their last 22 games. But they look far more likely than doomed saints to get to 40 points.
  16. Yeah but you’ve love lockdown so not surprised you’re championing it and defending those who also do
  17. No pal. Was my mates dad.

    Coronavirus

Such a great guy I can’t believe anyone would think he’d put chips in us all.
  19. Plenty don’t sadly. We were down in Southampton at a funeral this week and some family members and close friends didn’t come because they were worried about omicron, insane if you ask me. Media has a lot to answer for with all the scaremongering but equally people these days are pathetic. Also some use it as an excuse not to get off their arses and get on with their lives. Our work had just announced people still Have to come into the office unless you have a work from home contract as of Monday, unless you feel unsafe to do so. We were naming today the people who won’t come in next week because they feel unsafe, yet they’ll all be out on he piss tonight.
  20. No it’s not just you. It’s exactly what it is.
  21. Okay got it. So if there happens to be saints fans watching in Qatar and Iran who are locals watching the warm up they might pay attention to what warm up tops the players are wearing, wow, what an audience, there must be like literally tens of them! ok so the group isn’t about being inclusive at all, it’s about LGBT fans being able to meet together, so they can just mix with their own. So we can stop pretending it’s all about being inclusive, they don’t really want that, they just want to meet other LGBTs, that’s fine but stop making out it’s something it isn’t then. im glad you haven’t heard any homophobic abuse, me neither, nor for years in many different stadiums. Wonder where it all goes on then……

Any news on CB? Just post something mate let us know you’re still with us
  23. Will they, or will they just not notice a multicoloured top the players are wearing before i match. I cant say i've ever noticed what warm up tops the players wear, if LGBTQ is criminalised in country i doubt they'd be making a point of showing the TV audience what warm up tops two mid table premier league clubs are wearing do you? In fact, i doubt in any country they'd make a song and dance about what tops two lower midtable clubs are wearing at all. For the supporters group i thought the aim was to be inclusive, meeting up with other LGBT people is not being inclusive, it's meeting up with other people like them, it's fine if they want to do that, but dont pretend it's about being inclusive, it's so they can meet other likeminded people. As for point 3, when was the last time you heard anyone shout out any racist or homophobic at St Marys? I'm not talking about silly stuff like the unfunny and unoriginal "we can see you holding hands" at Brighton, (which people got arrested for!) but genuine abuse? I'll wait.

    Coronavirus

1m Omicron infections by the end of the month according to experts. Prepare for lockdown...... We met a primary school administrator called Muzi Linda, who tested positive for COVID-19 last week and I asked him to describe his symptoms. "Well, I've had a headache, blocked nose, wasn't too runny, I've been coughing, that was the major one." When I asked him how he would rate the severity on a scale 1 to 10, he said: "A '4' honestly, because it wasn't that bad, only after the first day, I decided to take a pill for my headache but that was it." Last week, the hospital treated 42 patients suffering from the new strain but Dr Abdullah said he was, "pleasantly surprised" to discover that two thirds were using "room air" - not oxygen or ventilators - to help them breath. "The picture could change but what is certain is that there is a difference this time around compared to the previous three waves (of COVID-19)." I talk to every one of my colleagues who has been working in this hospital and they have all made the same observation (as well as) colleagues at other hospitals and it is the same picture."
  25. Not really sure how wearing a rainbow shirt in a warm up before a match that isn't on telly "educates" anyone. How does it "minimise homophobia" As for the supporters group, how does joining an exclusively LGBT supporters club make them feel included? My final sentence is reality i'm afraid, some people say things we dont like, if you are in a crowd of 30000 people there will always be people you dont like, say things you dont agree with and behave how you wouldn't. If your aim is to change that so no one ever says anything that other people dont like then you're always going to fail, always going to be disappointed and always going be offended. It doesn't make it right, but it's reality. Sometimes it's best to just ignore it.
