Away fans could please them by chanting “tell us your pronouns tra la la la la”

Flicking between them mate, ladies 13-0 up now, what a time to be a champion for inclusivity in English football
-
Newcastle down to 10 men already

They could sing a song to identify themselves. “We’re the stattos we’re the stattos we’re the stattos over here” “we’re the LGBT we’re the LGBT we’re the LGBT over here” “we’re the vegans” etc etc

Mine is working absolutely fine.

I think I’m with you on this. Vaccine take up drops, a new very dangerous worst one ever version appears just before end of the November with the message get vaccinated now to save your christmas. Not saying there isn’t a new Variant but as others have said there always will be variants. They’ve moved very very quickly to open up new test centres and ramp up the roll out of boosters considering we’ve only known about African version for a few days….

That was really weird. Sturrock sacked after 3 games of the season then Wigley interviewed where he was asked who was in charge now and he basically announced himself as the new head coach. Felt a bit sorry for him as he blatantly wasn’t ever right for the manager job, but at least he beat Pompey

it seemed that your anti Hassenhuttl stance started when it became apparent a certain former striker would not get much of a run in the team. I get it, i'm sure most of us would be the same in that situation and FWIW i think he should have been given a chance. Anyway that aside, all the managers i listed were guilty of strange tactics, formations, signings and subs all far more frustrating that Hassenhuttl. I definitely think Ralph gets an easy ride from a lot of fans, especially given the grief someone like Puel got who achieved more.

Yet they are pushing the vaccine boosters which they dont know are effective against Omicron yet. Bozo is telling everyone to get vaccinated now.

Has there been such a quick response to a new variant since this all started? With every variant so far they've always taken time to see the impact, now within days of news breaking masks imposed, travel restricted and changes to the vaccine roll out even though they've only seen a few cases worldwide. Do they know something they aren't telling us or is there another reason why they has been such an unusual response.....

Tactically Puel was very good, two wins over Liverpool, IIRC we didn't concede against them in 4 games that season, won at Arsenal when they were better as well. I dont agree he was too defensive, there were some great performances under him too, we scored 4 away in back to back matches at Watford and Sunderland, i remember we beat Burnley 3-1 at St Marys and we had something like 35 attempts at goal. We weren't defensive in Milan, it was crap finishing that cost us that night, we also weren't defensive at Wembley when we were so unlucky against Man United, he adapted his tactics to suit, he knew if we went toe to toe with the likes of Liverpool there would only be one result. The trouble is people remember Puel for three things. Not qualifying from the group stages in Europe, yes that wasn't great, but people ignore the fact that under Koeman we didn't even make the group and we were absolutely bloody awful away in Denmark worse than anything we saw under Puel. They only seem to remember the last half a dozen home games, yes that was dull but also it's forgotten than he had in Yoshida and an inexperienced Stephens probably the worst centre back pairing the league, with Fonte sold and Van Dijk injured so he had to set up to give them protection otherwise we'd have got a few hammerings. Finally people moaned about him from the start because he wasn't a big name and not what they expected, people moaned about how boring his interviews were from the start of the season. All the good stuff he did is swept under the carpet. Another thing people ignore is that he had a lot more fixtures to contend with than any manager before or since, 6 European matches plus a cup final run and a squad that had lost 5 of it's best players from the previous year for at least half the season 3 for the full season. I like Ralph but tactically Puel was better, very good at being able to set up depending on the opposition and team available to him.

i rate him, his all round game is very good, he just needs to improve his finishing to be more consistent, just not very composed whacking it as hard as he can rather than placing it. His goal for Scotland recently was a great finish so it's in there, just needs to do it more. If he can he will be some player.

On a brighter note Vanessa Feltz is currently giving her view on Omicron on This Morning.

You're kidding right?. Redknapp, Jones, Sturrock, Hughes, Pelligrino, Burley, Gray, Puel (even though i thought he got a raw deal here) were all much more frustrating than Hassenhuttl. You just dont like him and we all know the reasons why, it's personal, just be honest about it.
-
Quite. A colleague from Bury St Edmunds took his missus and two teenage daughters to Anfield on saturday for their first games ever, then him and all his mates were noshing each other off on facebook about the great photos, great performance, what an experience for them all etc. He's supposedly a lifelong Liverpool fan FFS.
-
To be honest though and whilst it's not the politically correct answer if you dont want to get a bit of grief off some anonymous bellend on social media probably best you dont go on there. For every 1m people on twitter there will always be one or two "comedians" who think it's hilarious to call someone a name from miles away.

Im another one in the been to games on my own camp. Especially when i first moved up north and didn't really know anyone. Often this included a long train journey on my own or driving, I even travelled to Milan on my own for the game there, admittedly met up with people out there but it was fine, got chatting to other saints fans at Manchester airport and sat next to a Saints fan on the flight back and we've stayed in touch via facebook. It really isn't that bad. As JRM says i'm yet to meet anyone who really cares or even notices if anyone near them is gay, black or whatever despite the massive hype about needing safe areas and groups to go to matches with isn't that just making an issue out of something that isn't really an issue?

Introducing Rainbow Saints | Southampton FC No BAMEs that are LGBT in Southampton?

most post match threads are pretty boring to be honest with the stat/computer games experts on here doing their tactical analysis trying to out do everyone with their intricate knowledge of the nuances of a false 9 and XGs etc. Anyway that aside i know what you're saying, Liverpool are probably the best attacking team in the premier league in not Europe so to get anything was always going to be highly unlikely. No shame losing at Anfield and sure they'll win games this season by more than 4 (in fact they already have) However Ralph didn't exactly set us up to give us a chance with a strange formation, he even admitted himself was a mistake, even though some are still trying to claim he did nothing wrong. Along with some schoolboy defending a very tough task was mission impossible within 30 minutes. As we all know football is now set up simply for about 5-6 teams with the rest of us being fodder for them which is compounded by the fawning over their brilliance and their brilliant manager and their brilliant fans. I get sick to death with all these pathetic little weasels who have no attachment to Liverpool and the area boasting endlessly about their club on social media and how amazing they are. Liverpool fans at work from Exeter and Bury St Edmunds banging on about what an amazing performance it was, how it should have been 8.

Been there, got it, crushed it. Infections may be high, deaths are low, in fact most of my NHS contacts tell me the vast majority of people in ICU are the unvaccinated. So as long as you've done your bit nothing to fear, right.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

We should just let them all in, as long as they keep away from Romney Marsh. -
I remember seeing him play for Forest against Arsenal in the FA Cup a few years back, he must have only been about 18 or 19, he looked excellent. He's scoring a lot of goals this season but only got 7 in 40 last season and before that never scored more than 5 league goals in a season. He is still only 22 though so maybe he's just beginning to blossom. I notice he's now called Ben Brereton Diaz as well....

A headache, a scratchy throat, a cough and muscle aches, kind of pretty much the usual stuff with a winter cold/flu then.........

Anyone else think the name Omicron sounds like a crime group from a Bond film? Great timing to merge the outbreak of a new variant with that name with the release of No Time To Die on sky cinema. No stone unturned to promote maximum panic, funnily enough we were only saying the other day we are due a new variant.
