  1. Why is it always the only option to either back the manager or end up bringing in Alladyce? There are plenty of other managers out there you know. Hassenhuttl isn't a bad manager but he's not the only manager in the world capable of getting this squad to lower midtable.
  2. I thought we signed young, hungry players who are therefore guaranteed to improve?
  3. How much do you think we would have paid him then if Brighton are paying him £100k? Would he have joined us for say £50k instead of £100k at Brighton? So when you said that "but at the very least he would of been v useful to bring on when we’re trying to hold a lead. Better ball retention" you absolutely didn't mean that we could bring him on as a sub to run the clock down by keeping the ball better, that is absolutely not the reason you'd bring him on as a sub. Okay mate.
  4. Kind of implies he's come on as a sub to keep the ball to run the clock down doesn't it? 100k a week for a sub we could bring on to protect a lead. LMFAO.
  5. No i said we shouldn't have signed him. Which given he appears to be signed as a creative goal threat and he's only started 16 games scoring one goal he isn't then it kind of backs me up. Unlike you trying to make out we should have paid him £100k a week, out of position because we can bring him on sometimes to run the clock down.
  6. This is an interesting article about what he would offer them What Adam Lallana Offers Brighton (90min.com) "He may be entering the twilight of his career but Lallana can offer something of a goal threat and creativity to a Brighton side with a blunt attack." Surprisingly no mention of being able to keep the ball to run the clock down.
  7. Opps, bit of an own goal from Nemi 😂
  8. So like me you'd play him as an attacking midfielder, so kind of in the right position as to where he's played most of his career. So kinds of makes our friends comparisons with other midfielders futher up the thread completely pointless
  9. So you think he'd improve us, but you dont know where you'd play him or where he'd improve us and you've quoted a stats comparison with Ngolo Kante to back up your opinion. Have you ever seen Lallana play?
  10. Out of interest who would you leave out for Lallana if we had signed him?
  11. Yes, wasn't it the Man United game, second last game at the Dell? Ridiculous.
  12. Im not the one getting all upset and comparing Lallana to Kante
  13. Yes you're right, it is a stupid argument you've started and with every post you make it look even more ridiculous. Congratulations.
  14. LOL youre showing yourself up now. You evidently don’t know much about football if you’re comparing some of those to Lallana. I notice that the defensive midfielder Kante still managed more assists than your hero though, thanks for proving me right 👍
  15. The second worst defence in the league couldn’t get near Lallana with his one goal and one assist last season. Okay you’ve convinced me. We absolutely missed out.
  16. He does do nice turns in the centre circle though
  17. 1 goal this season for £100k a week (rumoured) we really didn't
  18. Their keepers are much better than we've got too, but that's not really saying much. Webster also better than Bednarek & Stephens if we're talking squad players.
  19. this is this thing isn't it. Yes we've wasted money but it's only money that's come in from sales. Every club makes bad signings. Crystal Palace spent over £60m on Benteke, Sakho and Wickham, nearly £300k a week on wages, all 3 of them pretty disasterous for example. Seems like not only are we the only club that has to sell to buy, we're also the only club who are forever hamstrung by crap signings 4 years ago.
  20. Why would he? He gets given money to spend, decent owner. Probably the only difference between the two teams is Ings, if they had someone who could stick the ball in the net regularly then they'd be a lot higher (yes i know a lot of clubs could say the same)
  21. That could be used as a weapon so you will not be permitted access with such an item.
  22. a loyalty price is based on a point systems Most £ spent on club shop/online = 5 points per £ amount of times used the grassing hotline = 10 points per grass positive posts on social media = 10 points likes on clubs facebook page = 1 point per like Fan loyalty is not defined by how long you've supported your club or how many times you go.
  23. We laugh at West Ham and many fans turned their nose up when Moyes was suggested as manager. We are superior to them both.
  24. But if you take out the 9-0 loss which was a freak result, the 5-2 home to Spurs when we played well the first half, the 5 goals we let in against Man City when we were the best team they've faced for 20 minutes We've actually got a better defensive record than Leicester.
  25. there was a 10 point gap between 11th and 12th this season, the good news being we are midtable in the crap 9, but only 2 points off being top of the crap 9. If we can sort the full back positions out and keep Ings fit next season we have every chance of topping our mini league.
