  1. i rate him, his all round game is very good, he just needs to improve his finishing to be more consistent, just not very composed whacking it as hard as he can rather than placing it. His goal for Scotland recently was a great finish so it's in there, just needs to do it more. If he can he will be some player.

    Coronavirus

On a brighter note Vanessa Feltz is currently giving her view on Omicron on This Morning.
  3. You're kidding right?. Redknapp, Jones, Sturrock, Hughes, Pelligrino, Burley, Gray, Puel (even though i thought he got a raw deal here) were all much more frustrating than Hassenhuttl. You just dont like him and we all know the reasons why, it's personal, just be honest about it.
  4. Quite. A colleague from Bury St Edmunds took his missus and two teenage daughters to Anfield on saturday for their first games ever, then him and all his mates were noshing each other off on facebook about the great photos, great performance, what an experience for them all etc. He's supposedly a lifelong Liverpool fan FFS.
  5. To be honest though and whilst it's not the politically correct answer if you dont want to get a bit of grief off some anonymous bellend on social media probably best you dont go on there. For every 1m people on twitter there will always be one or two "comedians" who think it's hilarious to call someone a name from miles away.
  6. Im another one in the been to games on my own camp. Especially when i first moved up north and didn't really know anyone. Often this included a long train journey on my own or driving, I even travelled to Milan on my own for the game there, admittedly met up with people out there but it was fine, got chatting to other saints fans at Manchester airport and sat next to a Saints fan on the flight back and we've stayed in touch via facebook. It really isn't that bad. As JRM says i'm yet to meet anyone who really cares or even notices if anyone near them is gay, black or whatever despite the massive hype about needing safe areas and groups to go to matches with isn't that just making an issue out of something that isn't really an issue?
  7. Introducing Rainbow Saints | Southampton FC No BAMEs that are LGBT in Southampton?
  8. most post match threads are pretty boring to be honest with the stat/computer games experts on here doing their tactical analysis trying to out do everyone with their intricate knowledge of the nuances of a false 9 and XGs etc. Anyway that aside i know what you're saying, Liverpool are probably the best attacking team in the premier league in not Europe so to get anything was always going to be highly unlikely. No shame losing at Anfield and sure they'll win games this season by more than 4 (in fact they already have) However Ralph didn't exactly set us up to give us a chance with a strange formation, he even admitted himself was a mistake, even though some are still trying to claim he did nothing wrong. Along with some schoolboy defending a very tough task was mission impossible within 30 minutes. As we all know football is now set up simply for about 5-6 teams with the rest of us being fodder for them which is compounded by the fawning over their brilliance and their brilliant manager and their brilliant fans. I get sick to death with all these pathetic little weasels who have no attachment to Liverpool and the area boasting endlessly about their club on social media and how amazing they are. Liverpool fans at work from Exeter and Bury St Edmunds banging on about what an amazing performance it was, how it should have been 8.

    Coronavirus

Been there, got it, crushed it. Infections may be high, deaths are low, in fact most of my NHS contacts tell me the vast majority of people in ICU are the unvaccinated. So as long as you've done your bit nothing to fear, right.
  10. We should just let them all in, as long as they keep away from Romney Marsh.
  11. I remember seeing him play for Forest against Arsenal in the FA Cup a few years back, he must have only been about 18 or 19, he looked excellent. He's scoring a lot of goals this season but only got 7 in 40 last season and before that never scored more than 5 league goals in a season. He is still only 22 though so maybe he's just beginning to blossom. I notice he's now called Ben Brereton Diaz as well....

    Coronavirus

Anyone else think the name Omicron sounds like a crime group from a Bond film? Great timing to merge the outbreak of a new variant with that name with the release of No Time To Die on sky cinema. No stone unturned to promote maximum panic, funnily enough we were only saying the other day we are due a new variant.
  14. Boring unless Puel who got us to 8th when he had Mane, Pelle and Wanyama sold soon as he arrived and Van Dijk and Fonte out for half the season.

    Coronavirus

We’ve seen all this before though haven’t we, many times. As other have already said, there will always be variants. Remember the super killing finish variant billions of times more transmissible and deadly than anything before it that was coming for us after they detected a a couple of cases in the Nordics? that all went quiet. The absolute widespread panic every single time a new variant is discovered is wearing thin. The same old rhetoric, vaccines may not work, may be more deadly, maybe more transmissible, maybe this maybe that. Even Chris Witty has come out and said previous variants are more of a concern.

  17. Going to be hard enough as it is without only playing 10 Men Adrian
  18. Tuchel booked for arguing against a ridiculous corner given for this farcical offside rule. How they can give a corner when Ronaldo was clearly offside but didn’t score if embarrassing. Ridiculous rule
  19. “Oh look Your boyfriend has liked it” no not homophobic at all. 🙄
  20. Hilarious how one of the biggest ones is still insisting Ralph didn’t get it wrong even after Ralph he admitted himself he did 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  21. So is making homophobic comments. Yet you’re choosing to ignore that
  22. Why did you imply I was his boyfriend? Did you mean it as a compliment?
  23. Get your tongue out of his arsehole billy, only dogs do that, you’re not a dog are you Billy?
  24. I see homophobia is alive and well on here
  25. Very arrogant. He’s been very arrogant for a while and I’ve been pointing it out as have others. Good people are realising “People like me” = people who know best, better than you lot.
