Dibbing is going to be some player
-
Man United sponsored by Duckhunters missus?

Brave line up so good on Russ. Pleased Dibbing is starting, also see what Lesley and Fernandes are all about. Good time to play United but still got players who can hurt us.

The way they teach is similar. It’s all about getting as many touches of the ball as you can, practising first touch, dribbles and skills using the sole, inside and outside of the foot on both feet and doing it over and over again. As I mentioned some kids get bored with it. My sons current challenge is 50 weaker foot outside keep ups which is about half way to his level 4. Some friends and other parents say what’s the point of doing 50 keep ups with the outside of your weaker foot you’d never do that in a game. The point being that if they can learn to do it 50 Times in a row then the chances are they’ll be able to do it automatically in a match on the handful of times they need to. Not to mention the amount of touches you’re getting with your weaker foot, the balance, coordination and strength you’re building and also the dedication to do something like that which is bloody hard to do. The claim is that once you’ve competed level 5 your first touch will be world class. How true that is I don’t know but you can see it’s far better than most kids of a similar age. as for Clifford he might be a bit of a strange one but you can’t really fault his methods. The players that stick with the Brazilian soccer school he started are generally very good players technically and stand out at the level they play at in kids football, his one to one coaching has helped a whole host of current pros, he’s got players he coached playing in all 4 professional leagues in England plus many at non league level. The current coaches at his school did his school themselves completing the 5 levels and now play at a good semi pro level as well as being football coaches so it works.

He’d certainly be an expert at putting them together and filing them away in an orderly fashion -
The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

So you've tracked back Hypos post over that 14 years and know for a fact he never once made a negative comment on the last government have you? Now that's strange. -
price per point will tell a different story.

Simon features quite a bit in the Sky program about Archie Gray. He did a lot of one to one training with him whilst he was growing up talks about that and his early days at his Brazilian soccer school in Harrogate. On a seperate note my U12 team which my son plays for beat Archies youngest brothers team 1-0 in a tournament two weeks ago. Turkish tactical masterclass. 🤣

He wont. If he gets to that sort of level he'll be gone with 3 years, he'll want to go on a play for top teams, win stuff and play for England and SR will insist he'll be gone within a few years. They will want to cash in on him. This is how a player trading model works. If he goes for £50m that's £50m profit on the books. Always difficult to say what a player will be sold for, Cole Palmer was a steal at £40m, but he owned City nothing so was all profit, if we sold Dibbing for that price if he was at the same level people would be in meltdown we sold him too cheap. Always makes me laugh how people insist we sold Mane too cheap when at the time he was sold he wasn't near the level he got to at Liverpool in his second and third seasons, he was one of the most expensive transfers of that window and the 3rd most expensive signing in Liverpools history.

I've read that, it's very good. Have you listened to his podcast? Also well worth a listen which i do every week whilst out walking One of the best books i've read which is completely unbiased is In Defence of Food by Micheal Pollin. Most of books are either trying to sell something or promoting an agenda, for example "How not to die" was recommended to me by someone who claimed you cannot argue with the science behind it, whilst some of that is true the theme through the book was the answer to everything is become Vegan, what's the question?

how long have you posted on here pal?

No, did 104 days at the start of the year. Started to have a few on weekends again and also when on holiday. I didn’t realise how good I felt during the 104 days until I started drinking again. So not totally cut out but Much less than I used to. That’s said I’ve started another break from 1st September as Saturday and Sunday morning got kids football again, northing worse than trying to coach a load of prepubescent boys with even a mild hangover. Even just a couple makes me lethargic so I can’t expect them to give it their all if im not. Knocking it on the head the weekends we have a game feels the right thing to do.

agree that's really poor from someone so senior in this country, the very least you'd expect is a well polished pair of loakes brogues.

who else is excited for the return of premier league soccerball this weekend? It's match week 4 and the Saints from Southampton host the Red Devils of Manchester in thrilling tie which could have a great bearing on the 10th and 17th placed finishes for franchises.

Good work on the weight loss @Weston Super Saint when you look around at people it's amazing how many people are in really, really bad shape and how many people have a similar mindset to you that by going the gym or exercising they're "earning" eating shit and drinking loads. My sister in law is a classic example of this, shes not particularly overweight but always complains she feels tired, isn't losing weight and often feels poorly. It's because she goes to the gym for for a run but will drink 2-3 cans of Stella a night and easily 5-6 on a weekend (classy bird right) all those carlories "earned" gone by drinking shit lager. It amazes me just how many people go to the gym and just plod along on the treadmill or bike for 20 mins or lift weights with terrible form, far too heavy (often both) or do pointless stuff that isn't doing anything. I had to stop doing crossfit at the start of the year which is by a country mile the best thing there is for general all round fitness i've ever done in 30 years of being in and around gyms. I still stick to the general principles though. Strength training 4 times a week concentrating on the big compound lifts, Deadlift, bench, should press, squat. I'll start with one of those for about 30 mins, doing progressive overload. Then do a crossfit style workout either copying one on the girl or hero workouts or make up my own, using one of running, bike or rowing, then barbell weights and/or body weight stuff, usually no more than 3 separate movements. I find this sort of workout much more interesting and fun than just going for a 5kg run. I also do a 2-4 mile walk at lunch time depending on how the day is panning out work wise. I track everything, what weights i'm doing for strength what my times are for the work outs and i'll repeat a few of the workouts every 3-6 months to see how i'm progressing. It's led to some seriously impressive increases in strength and fitness. Monday i took nearly a minute of my time for the "Karen" workout, 150 wallballs to target with a 9kg ball, last week did "Grettel" (10 rounds of 3 clean and jerks and 3 burpees) in 1.24 quicker that when i last did it March. I'd say overall i'm fitter now than i was in my early 20s. Like a lot of people i did loads of sport as a kid, teens and early 20s was football and also training at the boxing club in Thornhill then let myself go a bit once got married and settled down. I cant 5 or 10k run like i used to but im miles stronger and generally have a better all fitness than i did 25 years ago.

It's not SOGs fault it never it, it's everyone elses. He should have been born a scouser.
-
bit thin on the ground for this. Most of the famous people listed are Sudanese politicians, although there is a bird fashion designer, an actress and singer and a basketball player in the top 10, none of which i've heard of
-
Great. What this forum really needs is another thread for SOG to inflict his misery on us whilst showing how much he really does care about those poor little foreign people.

We brought a pizza oven a couple of years back now we only have homemade pizza. Sour dough base, tomato sauce with basil, melted cheese, they are 1000 times better than anything you'll buy at Dominos or Papa johns. Like you say the med diet is the healthiest out there, meat or fish with loads of veg and wine. What's not to like about that. One of the healthiest places in the world is Sardinia where they have one of the highest populations of people who live to over 100, they live of that and all stay active, no sitting on the sofa watching TV all day like a lot of Brits and Yanks do.

which player is going to be the one to give the ball away this week to gift Man U a goal? I'm going to go with one of the new boys, Suga or Ramsdale.
