We don’t want him. The geniuses on here don’t believe in loans as it just improves a player for another team

SOmething is seriously wrong when even clubs like Burnley, Palace and Watford have more spending power than we do. I know some will quickly jump up and down screaming but Watford went down and others will scream that we are skint. Both of those things are true yet it's quite incredible we are in this position having profited from sales year after year.

We're the only club that has made a profit from transfers the last 5 seasons yet still dont have a pot to p1ss in. it really is incredible how badly run we've been. I notice those repeating the "we are a well run club" mantra have been quite lately.
-
You can only go by past evidence like you say. it's really not been since 2014/15 that we have delivered a decent transfer window, addressing most of our issues with quality players. So given that we've had 5 consecutive years of shambolic windows i'm not expecting that to change in the next 6 days.

If you want to joke go to the muppet show. This is the place for serious football talk. Any deviation will not be tolerated.

I understand the club are confident of bringing in the players we need. Matt Crocker is relaxed about the situation.

yes, one of his parents died a few months after he joined.

"we tried really hard to bring players in, but it's a difficult market, not easy to get deals done"

LOL every year they say this year will be the worst winter on record
-
My apologies, it was the other relentlessly clueless bore, Adrian.
-
Yet you want us to sign Walcott noqw in his 30's who cant get a game at Everton.
-
Going well down the list of players that fit our profile and budget. Just another typical saints transfer window
-
The thing about it is though it’s so obvious what our problem is. Fonte wasn’t the greatest defender but he was a leader and organiser, all the players we’ve had since haven’t been that. It’s all very well signing young players but they need a few older heads to help them, especially in a position like central defence. I can’t believe that in 4 years there hasn’t been an experienced player available that can do that job which could have played alongside Stephens, Bednarek who whoever. Bedanrek is a reasonable defender but he’s not a leader, Stephens is good on the ball but cant defend and we’ve been though Hoedt, Vestergaard, Yoshida, Caceres, none of which have been anything like the answer. Let’s hope Salisu is the answer but I fear we are once again relying on youth in a crucial position
-
In January it’ll be 4 years since we sold our leader at the back. 5 Players and Over £50m spent and we’re relying on a 21 year old to be our savior. It beggars belief that we’ve screwed up such a key position so spectacularly
-
clearly Salisu has been brought in as a starter but without seeing him difficult to say the sort of player he is although reports say big, strong, quick and powerful which is just what we need. The future will be Salisu +1 Short term who should form our centre back pairing? long term who is the partner for Salisu?
-
We will win, Ralph will say that the performance shows how good our squad if and he’s happy with it despite us only bringing in a last minute loan signing from a club we’ve never heard of. Everyone will applaud and say how great it is we give youth a chance, that we can’t afford anyone anyway and the January transfer window is only 3 months away, let’s assess what we need then.

The more you type, which I know you love to do, the more I realise you don’t know what you’re on about and have probably never kicked a ball in your life

Adams general all round game has been very good this season. His awareness for the goal yesterday was excellent, I listened to the first half on the radio and They were full of praise for him and Ings saying what a great pair they are up front and would cause any team problems.
-
It doesn’t help having probably the worst pair of centre backs in the league in front of him.
-
But they aren’t in the Dutch league so your point is irrelevant.
-
I can, a number of people just on this page saying well if he’s going to PSV then we weren’t interested. PSV are a much bigger and more successful club than us, have a chance to win things every season whereas the best he can hope for with us is midtable and the chance to shop in west quay at the weekend.
