  1. Ridiculous.
  2. You would assume he won't play for Celtic today. Will find out fairly soon.
  3. Agree we didn't miss out on him but for the integrity of the Forum I have to state that he is a regular for Northern Ireland and will start for them every time he is fit to.
  4. He doesn't state his reasons for wanting to move, more how to go about it.
  5. Yeah Cundy is a wally. Its when Micky Quinn and Georgie Bingham start criticising our business on the Weekend Sports Breakfast that I will worry.
  6. Wonder if Wanyama is a Morgan or a Savage type. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/robbie-savage-john-stones-saido-6338665
  7. They were talking about our signings during the Sports Bar with Andy Goldstein and Jason Cundy on talkSPORT last night in between Selco adverts. Cundy reckons we have ****ed up.
  8. Koeman: "we will get one signing in." http://m.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/13632734.Wanyama_quit_reports_denied/?ref=rss

  10. Clyne obviously.
  11. Saints mentioned as having an interest in Josh Brownhill. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/08/28/preston-battling-to-retain-josh-brownhills-services-amid-premier/?utm_medium=share%2Bbutton&utm_campaign=social%2Bmedia&utm_content=/en-gb/2015/08/28/preston-battling-to-retain-josh-brownhills-services-amid-premier/&utm_source=Twitter
  12. Probably but Evans is costing about £8m.
  13. I think this will go to deadline day. They are obviously holding out for the best deal they can which is understandable. Hopefully he isn't fussed about Europa League football.
  14. @John__Percy: #mufc defender Jonny Evans is having a medical at West Brom tonight. Joleon Lescott now likely to join #avfc before Tuesday's deadline #wba Both average IMO.
  15. Unfortunately our schlong is crap and hideously overpriced.
  16. Yep. Barkley is a similar type too when on form.
  17. @SportsPeteO: Celtic manager Ronny Deila says the Scottish champions still hope to keep Virgil van Dijk. #celtic #saintsfc Hopefully in the same way we hoped various things would happen.
  18. When David Silva plays it perfectly it isn't a second striker, goalscoring position. If it were then he wouldn't be the best no10 in the Premier League. What it needs is somebody who can create and is a threat, whether that is by being able to beat a man like Hazard, or scoring from the edge of the box like Sigurdsson or being the attacking fulcrum of the side like Silva. The problem of playing Mane there is he isn't playing as an attacking midfielder, he is playing as a forward and likes to run in behind (which is good), but he doesn't drop in when needed and basically you end up playing 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1. The best players in that position know when to drop into the midfield and when to push forward.
  19. Its fair enough. I'm not sure the Mane and Wanyama situations would have exactly been a huge shock to the club seeing as they would both attract admirers and we surely have known for a while that Wanyama wasn't going to sign a new deal so logical he may consider moving on. But the basis is fair enough. We need to wait til the end of the window and see what happens when we have a more settled squad, but barring unforeseen transfer activity it will be a fact that over the last two summers combined we have brought more money in than we have spent on transfers. That alone is fine, it makes sense. Its the backdrop of the huge TV deal which makes it a slight frustration, because essentially the club must be wealthier now than it ever has been. If we have been under no financial need to sell then why not reinvest all the money? But those aren't questions for Koeman, and probably not even for Reed.
  20. De Guzman will be a quality signing for Bournemouth. Much to admire about their team, think they will have a decent season, if they can keep Wilson and their centre backs fit as I don't think they have much depth there. Attacking pace will hurt a lot of teams I reckon.
  21. Southampton losing patience Two seasons ago Southampton, under Mauricio Pochettino, were renowned for their possession-based approach and high press. Saints averaged more possession than any other team in the top flight in 2013/14, with 58.4%. Following his predecessor's departure for Spurs, Ronald Koeman was rightly lauded for sticking with the principles that had made the south coast side a success under the Argentine, though subtle changes were made. Last season Southampton's possession had dropped to 53%, the eighth-highest average in the league, and there has been a further decline this time around. Koeman's side are looking to play on the counter more often and have held just 48.4% of possession thus far this season, despite facing modest opponents. Forced to adapt following the departures of key players ahead of the Dutchman's appointment - and indeed during his reign - a shift in approach certainly seems apparent. http://www.teamtalk.com/liverpool/9969171/-?
  22. I would play Martina as a front sweeper to cover the whole pitch: -----------------Stekelenburg----------- CS---------JF-------------MY-----------MT >>>>>>>>>> --------------VW-------------OR------------ Tadic-------------------------------Mane ---------------------Pelle-------------------
  23. 9.3
  24. Everyone has, but just seems a bit too convenient when there is the other stuff in the background. We will see, but he may have some ****ed off teammates given it didnt go well.
