West Brom, Palace, Stoke, Liverpool, Spurs, Bournemouth, Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Sunderland, West Ham, Everton, Newcastle all off the top of my head have a better no 2 keeper than either an ageing Davis or nervous, inexperienced Gazzaniga

CONFIRMED - Virgil Van Dijk joins on Five Year Deal
Saint Charlie replied to Brizzie Saints's topic in The Saints
We are (can't get any more domestic season loans) and he is going to Dortmund anyway. I think we will just get a CB, afterall thats what Koeman has said we needed for ages and we haven't really ben linked with players in any other position. -
CONFIRMED - Virgil Van Dijk joins on Five Year Deal
Saint Charlie replied to Brizzie Saints's topic in The Saints
Odegaard would be pointless, he wouldn't get in our team and is a bit of a circus. -
United signing Anthony Martial who has very similar attributes to Mane.

Gaston crucial to get out on loan and save his wages. -
Yep and the stock answer is that nobody has good backup. The truth is actually that nobody in the PL has as questionable back up at GK than us.

Sky reiterating Celtic don't have to sell unless they get a good enough offer and no fee currently agreed. They say it could go into tomorrow. -
@GFN_France: Breaking: Papy Djilobodji is currently undergoing a medical at Chelsea, according to 20 Minutes. More to follow. We were linked with him earlier this summer. Seems like a strange player for Chelsea to go for. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-transfer-talks-nantes-over-5710634

Lindergaard signing for West Brom. Would make their third keeper better than our second choice for the season.

That just sounds like a BAU scouting trip, we watch hundreds of games a season I am sure. -

Interesting. Would be better for us of course if he had time to settle in. -

CONFIRMED - Virgil Van Dijk joins on Five Year Deal
Saint Charlie replied to Brizzie Saints's topic in The Saints
He is joining up with Holland later today so should be done sooner rather than later it seems. -
Bournemouth going for Austin possibly.
-
He is going to Germany and being paid a ludicrous amount relative to his quality. Doesn't suit our system either.
-
Not doubting it but this agent seems quite unprofessional telling someone this in a Spa!
-
De Guzman to Bournemouth set to finally happen. Excellent signing. Rumours of Man Utd interest in Martial and Austin. The latter would be the ultimate panic buy.
-
9.3 (It was his best game since coming back. We just need to keep giving him game time to get fully match sharp and confident).

Sky Sports Sunday Suplement 'Saints would sell Pelle if they could'
Saint Charlie replied to Bensfcno1's topic in The Saints
Austin isn't capable of the link play Pelle brought to the game today. If we create chances for Pelle he will score goals. Did last season and so far this. -

TV coverage would have been all over it if true. -
Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 3-0 Norwich City
Saint Charlie replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Yoshida does lots of good things, some great interceptions second half but just always has an error in him. The indecision in the first half leading to him being robbed by Jerome could well have been punished by the league's better players. Harsh on him but we aren't going to spend £10m ish on a defender to sit on the bench. -
Wanyama Transfer Rumours - Summer 2015 Edition
Saint Charlie replied to brett24's topic in The Saints
Bit of a change from yesterday when you said Wanyama was "very happy but just frustrated at our start to the season." Now he has directly "contributed to our exit in Europe and poor start to the season". All whilst being happy and yet handing in a transfer request. #durmanbingo -
Indeed it was the Telegraph who first broke the Mane story and from their perspective it was a fair story anyway and had truth behind it. The Wanyama stuff seems pretty spot on reporting too seeing as RK confirmed he handed in a transfer request. The media are just doing their job.

Certainly looked focused today! Should be set for a big season.
