  1. Going to Liverpool is a better move, financially and as a player than staying at Saints. Saints fans want the best for our team, but the above is just the truth. They always finish above us, are much more likely to play CL football and win trophies than us. They also pay players much more than we can/do. Its not really a debate.
  2. A Chinese team apparently close to announcing Paulinho for about 12m. Capoue to Watford has been suggested.
  3. Spurs set to recoup over 20m from Paulinho and Capoue. Failed signings but decent return.
  4. Of course. But every year there are loads of incorrect ones.
  5. They most likely will, its hardly unreasonable. Every year there are leaks and its usually wrong. IMO it doesnt really matter who we get, home or away but would be nice to avoid the top 5/6 sides.

  7. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/liverpool-fc-away-opener-shouldnt-9440009 Liverpool requested an away game first up to allow Anfield work more time. So if this is meant to be a leak it is 99% wrong.
  8. Excellent! Great to have him in for the whole pre season too.
  9. Same. Also physically imposing which helps as we have quite a few smaller lads.
  10. N'Zonzi tells Stoke he won't sign a new deal. Only has a year left and they will sell for probably £8m. Has been their POTS last two years.
  11. Definitely strange. But Hodgson, nice man that he appears, is a bit strange.
  12. http://www.kumb.com/story.php?id=128664 West Ham interested apparently. Although much of the article is just....wrong.

  14. Wouldn't be a huge suprise if one of the Italian sides come in for Pelle and he may well be keen as he hasnt ever established himself in his home country. I would think Saints wouldn't actively look to sell, but would consider any offer of around what we paid for him.
  15. 1. Only two new signings scored more than Pelle last season: Costa and Sanchez. 2. Which of Jay Rod's goals were scored from the left? Most were scored as a central player with Lambert moving wide.
  16. So, after all the Djuricic/Elia replacement stuff it is confirmed. He is a striker.
  17. They suffered whilst Walker was injured (and he has been poor for a while). With EL footy too, they want a proper RB rather than Dier playing out there. They did sign Yedlin the USA RB who looked handy in the WC, but imagine they would loan him out for experience. They already have Rose and Davies on the left, so would have 4 good full backs.
  18. Yeah, sounds right for an 'expert' on TalkSport though.
  19. Apparently Liverpool want to get the Sterling deal done to fund moves for Clyne and Benteke as they can't afford both currently.
  20. Swansea possibly signing Mitrovic, very good replacement for Bony if that comes off. Some really good new players heading for the PL, and not just at the top 6 sides. Good to see.
  21. Can't remember on Jay Rod but Clyne he was the first to say we were going to sign him, yes.
  22. They will have known about his low contract fee already, in Spain those aren't exactly a secret.
  23. He was definitely right about Jay Rod and Clyne signing for Saints, and generally has an ok record. Not the best, but he definitely has contacts which puts him above Crook. Less so on foreign signings, but might have a bit more of an idea on Austin.
