  1. Is ex-Skate Joel Ward worth a look at in the summer? On a free, can play RB, LB and in central midfield. Has also played centre back a couple of times I think. Could be useful, especially if we are in the Europa League.
  2. Biggest chance of the game, Murray 1v1 with Lloris. Poor finish, good save. Lloris class 1v1.
  3. Can't help but think they would be better suited to 4-4-2 and getting someone alongside Murray and actually put the Spurs back four under a bit of pressure.
  4. Damien Delaney is awful on the ball!
  5. 75% possession for Spurs after 10mins. Huge lack of quality in Palace lineup, especially without Jedinak and Bolasie.
  6. Unfortunately, seeing that Palace XI it is hard not to see a Spurs win. Hopefully they will raise their game for Pardew though!
  7. Assist versus Chelsea. Goal versus Arsenal. Who deserves to play instead? Long?
  8. They have Millwall away next Sat. Think they will rest players again as they did at SMS.
  9. Liverpool starting to grind out wins. Still well in the top 4 race.
  10. Have we decided that he doesn't want to play? Its a massive tournament for African players, Im sure he is desparate to help his nation win it. Its Saints who made the injury out to be more serious, not Mane.
  11. Apparently he is in talks with Spurs.
  12. Im not worried about Koeman at all. He will leave for bigger things at some point having done a great job and raised the profile of the club. More concerned that we are one bout of flu away from a 39 year old Kelvin back in goal!
  13. I could understand if Cork signed or if he wanted to see what options he might have at a club that might start him every week. Re Clyne his agent wouldn't' have failed if he doesn't move, but would have failed if he doesn't at least wait until the summer and see if double your money, CL interest really exists before considering a contract extension here. Which is why he won't be signing one now. Any of that really overly mongy?
  14. Of course. But he can double his money and keep his England place whilst also having a chance of winning major trophies. No brainer in many ways if there is genuine interest. Plus if he won't resign then its in our interests to get the £15m fee to reinvest in the squad.
  15. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/manchester-united-target-nathaniel-clyne-4951049 United keen as Clyne stalls on new deal. Anyone reckon he will sign one? If he does then his Agent will have failed him IMO. Summer move to one of the big boys IMO.
  16. PSV have signed this lad.
  17. Unbelievable Jeff said he would sign one because he "seems honourable". He is nearly always right so hopefully will be again in this case. I would tend to agree with you. Will be very hard to keep him in the summer if he won't sign (I probably wouldn't if I were him).
  18. Agree.
  19. Clyne would get into pretty much any other PL team I think. Perhaps not City but Zabaleta hasnt been as good this season. Would walk into Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal team thats for certain. Bertrand has been at Chelsea and not played so he is probably more likely to keep.
  20. Of the current squad I would be pretty suprised if Schneiderlin, Clyne or Toby were still here next season. We would be mad to allow more than those to leave really.
  21. We might sack him next year because he doesn't really have a Plan B.
  22. Bertrand has always indicated he would be happy to stay here.
  23. Koeman says Cork offered a "good contract" and we are waiting to hear back as to whether he wants to sign it. Hopefully he does, but equally could understand if he wanted to move on. Nice options for Cork to have as he enters the last few months of his current deal.
  24. Apparently if Joan Laporta regains control of Barca he will bring in Cryuff as Sporting Director and he wants Koeman as Manager. Source: De Telegraaf Koeman todaysl says he is happy here now and sees himself as Barca Manager in the future. Mine opinion: He will probably stay until end of next season and then move on. Top Manager and seems a really decent and honourable guy.
  25. JWP just isnt a threat from open play going forward, certainly not as part of a front three. It would just enable Shaw to get forward more and more, you have to have a threat in these type of games otherwise they just pin you in.
