Thoughts? Seems pretty composed, decent in the air and powerful if perhaps a little slow to turn and occassionally a bit rash. Not ever going to be of the quality of Lovren or Toby but seems a handy cover CB, certainly an upgrade on Hooiveld which is who he was brought in to replace.

I thought the foul near the end might have been inside the box too from where I was sat. He does do well with runs like that but never looks a goal threat.

Pretty poor, looked a bit jaded as a team. Thought Davis was the only player who played at his normal high level. JWP poor at RB first half and slightly better second half but so hesistant to try anything positive unless he has space for a cross. Just got crowded out in the end and didnt have a spark to break them down. Only times we got into good areas the touch of Pelle and especially Long let us down and we barely worked their keeper. Suprised they went so defensive second half after being a threat on the counter attack in the first.

How did people think Shane did today? I thought lots of effort but a very poor touch. Happiest when chasing the ball rather than having it and often sticks out as being technically inferior in our team. 100% effort and some good hassling though. Also tends to draw fouls well.

Was excellent when he came on. Love his aggression. A hybrid of him and JWP (who needs to add aggression to his game) would create a superb central midfielder.

Spurs in a great run of form to be fair. Could well end up qualifiying for the CL.

Mirror says Arsenal will sign a loan midfielder in Jan before making a move for Morgan in the summer. Would be amazed if none of the top 4 came in for him, he is exactly what Arsenal need.

Great for them. PL standard keeper. They could well go up which would be fantastic for south coast footy. They have a really strong squad rather than relying on one or two key players.
