Haha, awful defending. Moreno is woeful defensively.
-
Liverpool absolutely bossing Sevilla to be fair. Being in the CL would certainly boost their summer transfer plans.
-
Was wondering if the scenario unfolds that Koeman says to the Club he is very happy to stay nest season but doesn't want to sign a new contract at the moment, whether they can really communicate anything? Obviously if he signs a new contract that would be communicated but I get the impression from his comments that he might want to see how we tackle the summer (at least in part) before committing.
-
Assuming by tomorrow Koeman will very likely have held the meetings mentioned do people expect that there will be some form of communication either way about it?
-
Agree. Would still pick Pelle over Austin personally.

Club and players liked him, Reed still speaks highly of him and Pochettino has always been full of praise for Saints since joining Spurs, despite the fan animosity towards him. End of the day in a time of uncertainty he left for a better opportunity. People have a dislike of him because he is good and chose to be good elsewhere. Probably time to move on because we replaced him with a good Manager so hopefully we can persuade him to stay as the whole club is in a better position than when Pochettino made his choice.

He isn't good enough for us. In and out of the Norwich team this season and they are poor. -
The chant to Adkins of "Your getting sacked in the morning" was good too.
-
Yeah and he was heavily involved in the shenanigans at the end with Sonnie. Seems like a good character!
-
I think you could have a central midfield three with one small (tiny) player but not two. We already have Clasie, plus Reed also on the fringes, so it must be a consideration. He sounds like a good player though and if Leicester want him to replace Kante potentially then he sounds like someone with the stamina and mobility to do well in the PL.
-
Possibly. Will need a loan move next season to somewhere he will start at CB because he was playing RB for Wycombe mostly. Doing a good job at RB in L2 is miles away from being a starting CB of a PL side but he looks like he has the attitude to give it a good go. Think Jack Stephens is a better player personally, albeit slightly older and a lot more experienced.
-
Makes a big difference to pre season for United to win.
-
Not based just on that game, he always looks better at CB than RB in the U21s too. RE the game, its a lot easier to cross a ball when nobody is within 15 yards of you and nearly all his crosses were dire especially compared to Butterfield who (unchallenged) put a series of good crosses in for Lambert. Obviously not a competitive game, but a valid observation.
-
McCarthy had quite a few chances to cross the ball totally unchallenged due to the pace of the game and he picked out the keeper or the crowd most times. If he makes PL level it will be as a tough CB not a RB as he isn't good enough on the ball. Alfie Jones looked very assured I thought, even if against poor opposition in the second half.

Everton apparently looking for £65m for Lukaku. What does that make Mane worth?

Relegated Teams - Players who would you buy from their Squads?

Nowhere near the presence of Wanyama. More mobile, less physical. -

Sounds like Sonnie Davis is in one of the early age group Academy teams.

Kingsland tonight and couldn't hear a lot!

Good to see Jonno Quick is still quick.

Interesting Everton are apparently after £65m for Lukaku. Mane must be worth at least £40m.

Fitting end to SKD's Saints career. Stekelenburg did everything he could to stop Lambert scoring in the first half. Lee Holmes played like Arjen Robben and Pelle took it more seriously than most. Slowed a bit second half with the changes...until SKD's lad came on and stole the show. Martina and Mane both showed good spirit for the occassion. Hard to judge a player but Jones the CB looked tidy, Reed was good but Gallagher a little clumsy. Great evening, only gripe was the appauling PA system which meant you couldn't hear any of the interviews which was a shame. Good effort all the players who came along, especially Puncheon ahead of the final - shame we need him to lose now.

Decent turnout aside from the Chapel.
