Suprised MLG didn't notice. Not a good time to pick a knock up...
-
Did Lambert though...?
-
How many do you think will be sold if any?
Saint Charlie replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
Is funny how people started doubting his info when he said this. -
VMAN said a couple of key players will leave so time will tell. Fully expect Davie IN SweD€n to be up there.

Oweing transfer money is surely BAU practice for any PL team. Considering the amounts coming in, and our relatively low wage bill compared to others, then I can't see that theres any issue, but they certainly made it one when revealing the accounts. However, part of it could be lost in translation as they also clearly said it wasn't a problem, and was something they were prepared for. To say we "need" to sell players is lazy journalism.
-
Definitely in the favour of some of the big clubs to unsettle our players. Blackmore said its common knowledge that the Shaw and AL to Utd stuff had been leaked by sources very close to the action at United...trying to unsettle players and also allude to their fans that they won't be left behind in the market again. May calm down if MP stays, will only get worse if he doesn't or until he decides what he does.

7 year deal from Saints or Spurs? Either way surely thats too much, nobody would offer that much.

What does Oakley actually say?
-
Shaw's defensive work is so "patchy" that no winger beats him one vs one and I can't recall a single howler leading to a goal against in 50 plus apps. If Shaw goes, his replacement will be a far lesser player of that I am certain.
-
Agree, sadly. If they have any chance of doing it they need to be decisive with MP in the days after season ends. If he does walk away too then you really have to wonder what the **** the clubs been playing at. If he stays then we have a better chance of keeping one of AL and LS.

Mail and Times also reporting Liverpool interest. Interesting they all have the story at the same time...someone is putting it out there...

Mirror Journalist says Lallana "out of there, no question."
-
Tonight's tabloid transfer gossip comes from tbe Mirror who say Lallana wants to go to Liverpool and that they "believe an offer of £20m would get him." No way we would sell for that considering we owe Bournemouth 25%. £15m for our Captain, England player in the PFA team of the year and nominated as one of the six best PL players alongside Suarez, Sturridge, Hazard, Toure and Gerrard. £15m? LOL.

Indeed - Facepalm at anyone who believes this WUM.

Means we have a good team and good Manager but lacked the squad depth over the season to cover injuries in some areas. It means that if we keep the Manager who is top class and most of the best players, whilst adding carefully in 3/4 positions, we could probably push for a top 6 spot seriously next season. Outside perception certainly enhanced by the results and high profile players so should be able to attract some decent ones this summer. Lots of if's, the biggest one being the Manager who is key.

No reason for him to. But equally hardly seemed like he cannot wait to leave.

Fair enough. He really is superb player and for me is the best left back in the league already. Obviously fellow players agree.
-
Sadly not much the club can really do if Shaw gets an offer and wants to leave.
-
Lots of this "see what happens" stuff.

Nice interview: http://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/luke-shaw-its-no-biggie-if-i-miss-out-world-cup-ive-still-got-years-left-me Feels MP can improve him as a player.

It would suprise me. Because he isn't very good.
