He has already brought through the Academy players that are ready. There aren't loads of Shaw's and Chambers' hanging around there. He got us to 8th with our best squad for years, can see why he would want to go now rather than work with an inferior bunch. He stock is high now, can't see how he can improve it more at Saints without our best players.

Media certain MP is the number one Spurs target...as we have known since March. He has stalled on the deal offered by us, which neatly coincided with their vacancy. Funny that.

Don't understand anyone being suprised Sherwood has been fired. Its the reason we have been worried about MP for the last two months. Sherwood's results have been decent but he is a clown.

They are bigger. They have better players, money to spend and even after our best PL season and a poor ish one from them they were better than us. We are selling our best players, Poch will want out. Pretty obvious.

Not sure what your point is as the replacements those teams got will be better than ours, plus they also had lots more very good players. City have better strikers than Balotelli and Tevez now. No chance the same will apply to Saints.

These clubs fought to keep players and didnt lose two or three and their Manager in the meantime. Also City were happy to sell tevez and Balotelli.

Sherwood is a Clown. Pochettino isn't. He will do a miles better overall job than Sherwood did over a longer period of time, and with a squad that respect him rather than hate the Manager as they do with Sherwood. Pochettino will not care how they treated Sherwood because he knows he will do better.

Fairly obvious what happens now. Wonder if Reed and Krueger are still "comfortable with the situation"?

So Adam Blackmore (Solent) said he is 100% sure that Liverpool have made a bid. Makes Krueger's comments bizarre if so.

My issue isn't that we should look to spend lots of money we don't have. Its that there doesn't seem to be very clear direction at Board level ovdr what we do intend to aim for. In addition, the statements from Krueger sound like the type given by clubs with financial difficulties who have to sell players. He has gone from saying no player the Manager wants to leave will do, to openly inviting offers and asking the fans to "respect" the fact that conversations with other clubs need to take place. A team assembled over years can be dismantled very quickly indeed.

Shaw is in the WC squad. Again, as with AL it makes no sense to sell before the tournament.

Not sure he would love it up north on his own. Still think he might select to stay here one more season and then see what options he has. Afterall, Utd can't offer Champions League and there is guarentee they will make it next season either.

Listened and he clearly said they would be having conversations with clubs (who are interested in buying our players). He later also mentioned speaking to players re incoming transfers.
