Last season in Serie A, only Cavani and Di Natale scored more goals than Juve transfer target Osvaldo
-
At this level its more about individual players than the team. Won't lose sleep over this.
-
Debayo will make a good central defender in time.

Latest update from Alfredo Pedulla: Oswald, tomorrow Juve has bid. Growing optimism. But there is also the Tottenham
-
LOL.

Should be there.

Is Kirk still in Corrie? -
Very promising. Probably more suited to an impact sub role for now but so many good attributes for the coaches to work with.

http://www.alfredopedulla.com/articoli/37369-esclusiva-vucinic-per-osvaldo-lo-scambio-non-in-piedi Usually reliable Italian Journo.
-
Or none. Quagliarella is ****e anyway and Vucinic link ruled out by good Italian sources.
-
Personally I think he will move on in the summer. Depenss what the post Cortese vision and ambitions of the club are I guess. Really hope he stays though, superb Manager.

http://www.alfredopedulla.com/articoli/37443-esclusiva-osvaldo-juve-ore-calde-la-situazione Further update and again no mention of a swap.
-
The more reputable Italian sources have suggested a Vucinic/Osvaldo swap is unlikely. As linked to further up this thread but conveniently ignored by many. Personally Im not expecting a big name.
-
Wow, if they have offered that he will certainly go.
-
Ha, has a Twitter rumour ever been right?

Celtic fans reckon Van Dijk would cost similar to Wanyama.

"Need" new signing for prem league this season?
Saint Charlie replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
One or two additions wouldn't be OTT or frivolous. If we had a better third CB we would have at least four more points. -
He won't go before the summer. But will in the summer. Yet another Academy player we have for a tiny fraction of their career. At least we should get top dollar and some good extras from Chelsea.
-
Looks like the papers are going for the old approach of Shaw moving every single day, knowing once it will actually happen. Getting bored of it now. Shame these clubs havent produced any players of note from their own academies in the last 10 years

FA Cup 5th round draw thread (Sunderland Away)
Saint Charlie replied to rickylambert's topic in The Saints
Good draw. They are not great, are focused on the league primarily and if we win theres a good chance of another decent draw. Hope we go full strength for this. -
Got to have Lambert up top and Jay starting from the left.
-
Who knows. Theres probably an extensive scouting organisation etc. No point getting hung up on numbers like those. All in all he is obviously respected in his field and in the right role would be an asset. Also makes it far less likely that Liebherr intends to sell. At least not straight away.

Post Match Reaction: SAINTS 2-0 Yeovil - (FA Cup 4th Round)
Saint Charlie replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Yeah he is a good option from the bench but nothing more IMO. He just rarely seems to offer any threat from open play but is a good athlete and tidy on the ball. Not overly dissimilar to S. Davis in some ways. Fans who boo him are plain stupid, but equally the OTT support for him baffles me a little. In his time here I would say his best contribution was the winner at home to Bristol Rovers in the L1 promo season. Very good and vital, vital goal. But ultimately lucky (like Hooiveld) to still be at the club. -
No. Probably wouldn't get on the pitch unless we had a lot of injuries.
-
He said it would be a Leadership role as 700 employees in the company. Not on the football side directly though. Reed will still be hugely important I would think, as the only "football man" that has an overall oversight.
