  1. Or not depending who you believe. Poch down to 8/1 now if anyone fancies it,? If NC goes he will walk...
  2. Saints contact tells BBC the Sky report is untrue
  3. Doesn't sound like its his fault...if Liebherr family have gone back on agreements you can't blame him. But everything is ifs and buts at the moment.
  4. Get some cash on MP next Mgr to go. Unless Hughton beats him to it.
  5. Not good at all.
  6. Some are, some aren't. It's clear that a lot of our better players are at the club in a large part because of the progress we have made under NC and they feel that with him at the helm good things will happen. No doubting all areas of the club would suffer major upheaval if he does leave.
  7. Also interesting its gone from leaving end of season to potentially leaving before our next game.
  8. Adam Blackmore: I think this time he's genuinely getting ****ed off with owners reps who fail to deliver on agreements
  9. Surely the NC isnt dumb enough to think the same PR trick will work again 6 months after the last one. On the other hand why would NC walk away from the club with nowhere else to go after having laid so many long term plans, would be pointless for him.
  10. Money yes, activities and efforts no.
  11. No effect? Have you buried your head in the sand that much?
  12. Anyone know if an appointment was made to replace Matt Crocker who joined the FA? Role was certainly advertised but haven't read of an appointment, at least not publically.
  13. He really has. Only the blind cannot see this. The players would be scrambling over themselves to move on - the good ones who could easily move to better clubs anyway. But there must be reasons for the timing and sources of these stories...
  14. If he does go it would see big changes. MP would go and a host of the leading players. But can't see why he would want out at this point?
  15. MP denied interest in Diego ages ago.
  16. Top top lad and a very good PL striker. Sad to see Chungy depart. It was Adkins that truely believed in him after watching the wonder goal against Australia with his backroom staff. Once Nigel left it was clear Chungy would face a tough task to shine.
  17. Can't see him walking away yet, but he will one day and it will trigger a mini demise.
  18. At the end of the day Cortese will decide, none of us have any influence, and we will see what value he places upon Shaw. Luckily, I think (know) he will try very, very hard to keep LS at the club for as long as possible, and when he does leave we will get a massive fee (although NC would rather keep the player I am sure). For fans to suggest that we should sell for certain amounts is quite funny when nobody here has any idea of the finances at the club. It might be 20m that we would "have to" accept. It might be 40m, it might be that financially we could turn down 80m if we decided we would rather have the player. Point is, any one on here can say what they would do, but as we know, our Chairman does what he wants, which often isnt what the rest of football suggests he should or "has to" do, and I am happy with that.
  19. Obviously there will be no price now as he won't be available. Original link was ages ago.
  20. This guy is going to be a superstar. Apparantly only started playing football a few years ago. Still, good to know our scouts are identifying good talent.
  21. But Cortese makes the decisions and says he isnt for sale. So he obviously doesn't "have to go". Do you think if Everton get a bid of 30m for Barkley that he will "have to go"? Or might they actually try to have the player instead?
  22. Wouldn't be mine. Jay is essential away from home.
  23. No way NC will do a bad deal. We will get what we want from it when it happens and with whoever.
  24. We watch absolutely stacks of games....doesn't mean anything major.
  25. Agree. Besides, all talk says Shaw wants to stay for now which makes the notion of selling him even more bizarre.
