Poch to leave at end of the season?
Saint Charlie replied to jasoneuelllfanclub's topic in The Saints
His family probably still live in Spain, I could see it happening. Depends what his end goal was when he came here. Or he could be looking for a (well deserved) pay rise. -

Funny that MP hasnt signed a new contract though, seeing how successful he is. Him leaving would be a worry as our best players all seem to love him, although sure NC would get a good replacement. His Managerial appointments have always been excellent -

Not a bad price to watch a PL team really. -
Thoughts since he has been back in the side? Did ok at Everton but IMO could have done more for the first Chelsea goal and perhaps could have done better for the third. Versus Burnley was poor for 2 of the 3 goals for me. Has made a few decent saves but any keeper who is poor on nearly half of goals conceded has to be a bit of a worry. We already knew about Gazza, but I think in his absence KD was built up again. Reality is that he also isnt up to PL level and we massively need more competition at this level. Giving KD a new playing contract was, IMO an error when he had a year to run anyway. He would be ok as a clear third choice keeper but not as second at this level which, with respect, he has never looked comfortable at. Note: This in no way suggests I hate Kelvin or think any less of the marvellous service and performances he has given us. He was fantastic for us in L1 and the Championship and seems a top guy too who loves the club.

Boruc surely must be getting close.

Great draw -
In the Saints Player interview where he said he considers himself a Saints fan he did actually mention money as being important - of course it is. He might not want to go in his heart, but if we accepted an offer and he was offered double money it would be madnes to turn down. I wouldnt imagine he will go if Im honest, but if WHU would really chuck that much cash our way and his then it could. I wouldnt expect we will offer him another new contract.

Stevenage would be good. -
Doble turned down a month contract with Newport County in the summer.
-
For double money? Its a short career and RL only been at the top for a short time.
-
Ramirez double the goal tally of Santi Cazorla this season with far fewer minutes. Is he that bad really?
-
Ha, we carry far worse. Far worse.

Well most of the Twitter Journalists seemed to have reaction...the Moose isn't a Journalist is he?
-
In the CCC season he scored 7 or 8, nearly always on a Tuesday!
-
Don't think it does make up for it. He isnt good enough anymore.
-
Why is it harsh? I picked his away goal you picked the home one? Suarez one was just something Ive remembered and was funny.
-
Hence the first sentence. He is having a tough time but this thread is for the moments that made you smile.
-
I enjoyed the goal away to West Ham in the Championship season and also last year home to Liverpool when Suarez was chasing Jos back to his own goal. Jos tripped himself up and the ref though Suarez had clipped Jos' heel. Whats yours?
-
Davis awful for the 2nd and third. If Gazza had done that he would have been slated. Jos for the second...wow.

Lambert injury sounded like a muscle tweak from radio. -
Sharp said he doesnt train with the first team at Saints. Be suprised if that changed. We will sell him this window.
