Saw Morph (and also Ed Chamberlain) at the game last night. Shame Morph doesn't post on here anymore, always enjoyed his takeover opinions. All IMHO of course.

In hindsight I would keep Duncan on the board because he has lots of good sources. That 110 Persaint guy is a loon though, and contributes nothing. I think he likes you as well Glasgow, seems to copy your sort of style.

Well I am already well inside that ratio. 8652 posts since May 2007 (78 months). Approx 3.6 posts per day You average over 13 a day.

I actually think the post restriction thing would work well, for everyone. Something like max 5-8 posts per day. One of the biggest problem, is people repeating their opinions over and over thinking that somehow that makes it a fact.

Scores now are: Nobody has a narrow lead from Barry Sanchez and Bearsy No votes for Alpine_Saint who has taken this thread somewhat personally despite not actually being named by anyone. Thanks to the Mods for keeping it open, not doing any harm and noticeably the bickering on other threads has decreased since this one was published.

Anyone you would like to ban then Alps?

So far leading the way is nobody to be banned. Second place is Barry Sanchez. Interesting that many threads call for bans, yet when asked to name people, only Saint Garrett has been brave enough to put his head above the parapet.

So, if you could permanently ban any member from this section of the Forum (they could still post in the off topic bits) who would it be and why? No personal insults allowed, just a clear rationale for your opinion. Mods - if you lock this it will really just highlight that paying customers are not allowed freedom to raise their views. Better to keep it all on one thread rather than scattered around pretty much all of the others.

Is there much point trying to rush Clyne, Morgan and Wanyama back for this one? Fonte will come back into the middle so we will be more solid there but Yaya and Fernandinho vs Davis and Cork (or JWP) would be a huge missmatch.

Technically his dristribution is very good, he has a clean strike on him. The scenarios you mentioned the ball actually went to Clyne, whereas Boruc often finds the touchline. The issue is that clearly they are both instructed to look for that ball, rather than playing it more directly upfield. Can't blame a keeper for carrying out instructions. On his keeping in general, his saves/goals ratio must be awful in the PL. He isn't ready at this level.

Haven't seen a replay. Absolutely superb 1v1 though. Must be one of the best CBs in the league.

Lovren isn't a flash in the pan, he is genuinely a class player.

Re Fonte it would surely be with a view to Saturday. Very tight turnaround.

No chance ahead of Davis or Cork. Bench though.

That is the harsh reality of it. The PL is a ruthless league where weakness is exploited. Nothing against either of the two guys. Kelvin has had a great career and Gazza may well have a very good one himself and has loads of potential. But very few 21 years old keepers starting in the PL.

Gazza is miles better with the ball at his feet which counts for a lot in our style. However, Davis more reliable in terms of you know he won't get to some shots that a PL keeper should, but he is less likely than Gazza to suddenly make a horrendous error. Very tough decision. Probably, on the basis of experience, nerve etc you would go with Davis, but I fully understand why some would also pick Gazza.
