None at all? That would make Faulkner an excellent signing then.
-
First thoughts from those playing? Much different to 13?
-
Faulkner would be good, but surely will endup missing huge chunks of the season?
-
On the Wednesday maybe but surely not the Thursday? All the players that started that game ie Ramirez, Yoshida, Hooiveld were training. Lallana didn't even come on.
-
Poyet would be a poor choice, far to emotional and lacks the mental strength for a PL relegation battle.
-
No sightings of AL and JR on the OS gallery but I'm sure they are fine!
-
26 is unrealistic but he should easily have 15-17.

Puncheon did show a good attitude to win around the situation though, and has never appeared to be any less thought of by team mates. Not sure what Forecast did apart from being rubbish? The other examples are fair enough, and can add Guly's drink driving incident. These all seemed one off's though, and Guly aside, nobody was found guilty of anything.

Cork maybe but would imagine zero chance Clyne - he will be in the England squad himself soon.
-
I will boo Ramirez, Rodriguez and Lallana who are all crap.

Miles better than any other I have come across. Sunday Supplement is sometimes a decent podcast to listen to as well. Any liklihood of further SaintsWeb pods, they were pretty good?

Whilst footballers tend to get a lot of stick for their lifestyles and antics (in many cases rightly so) I can't really think of any players in our squad that seem to be anything less than good professionals and in many cases players that come across extremely well in the media and if you meet them face to face. Certainly the vast majority represent the club very well in times were most people need no second invitation to hammer footballers. Whilst this might seem like luck, I would doubt that it is. There have been numerous references this summer about the team spirit and how easy it is for new players to settle into the squad and we know that when looking at transfer targets personality is very important part of that, although is often overlooked by fans and in some cases, clubs. Also, in terms of the players that come through the academy, the Bale's, Walcott's and AOC's are all player and people that seem quite down to earth despite their fame and the current crop are the same. JWP did virtually every media interview in the recent U21 Intl break and seems very intelligent and motivated whilst Shaw, Chambers etc also come across as driven but not overly arrogant and seem to genuinely appreciate their career. A contrast from the likes of Sterling, Ravel Morrison, Phil Bardsley (below) etc. All in all they seem a well balanced, driven bunch and that must help around the training ground and on the pitch. Certainly makes a change from the QPR, Sunderland type fiascos or clubs like Newcastle where there are clear cliques.

IMO the key to his future at Saints is how prepared he would be not to play every game. If he is happy to have his playing time slightly reduced but remain a hero at the club then great. If he wants a guarenteed place every single week then he might not get that at Saints going forward. He isn't suddenly going to be surplus to our needs but there arent many players anywhere that play all the time.
-
Very tidy player and usually has an impact when he comes on too, which is a great attribute. Doesn't score or directly assist enough to be played as a no 10 instead of a striker but an excellent player.

Schneiderlin? Shaw who struggles to complete a game without coming off? Lallana? In any case, the key for me with Ramirez is confidence. He has mentioned it himself on his OS interview this afternoon. When he first came here he looked so classy and was confident to try things and most were coming off.

Shaw should be 75 or 76 without a doubt, Lambert's passing is rating in the 50's despite being one of the best in our team?

Personally, as a Season Ticket holder I would be happy fo the club to reduce prices in the couple of days leading up to the game in order to sell-out. It wouldnt really bother me as I have a guarenteed seat and never have to scramble around to get a ticket. Of course, there would be many that wouldnt want someone else to get a last minute cheap rate that would advantage them over a ST holder and would complain etc which is why the pricing is so rigid. Shame really as I would much rather the whole ground was full - and Im sure it will be for many games this season.

Most players would have buried? Not sure about that.

The quote on that Nigerian guy is quite old, we were linked with him in the summer, and I believe some Swedish residents on here said he isnt overly good, pace but nothing else i.e probably not even as good as Mayuka. -
Amazed how many people are making 2 or 3 changes to the lineup. Pretty clear why all 11 starters from Saturday were rested last night....
-
Two starts, two goals this season. Plus a ratio of 1 in 4 last season - not bad for a midfield player.
-
Unchanged team. Early blow is that Martin Atkinson is ref for this one. He is without doubt the worst of a poor bunch of officials this season. Every game of his seems to have at least one major decision that he gets hopelessly wrong.

Win, clean sheet and with 11 changes. Can't ask for much more. -
Thanks. Theres enough made up here without fictional teamsheets being created.
