Another time he was trying to get to an Arse player (forget who) on the left side of the box and he was running as if he had a piano on his back. He is embarrassingly slow.

On the old Saints usenet group years ago, a fellow used to go along to Staplewood and report back on training every week. Right interesting t'were. Has anyone here watched much - or any - of Koeman's training sessions? How do they compare in intensity with Poch? Tactically? Anyone?

Just looking at the BBC.co.uk league table. Arsenal champions, never saw Villa and Burnley getting 2nd and 3rd, stone the crows! Interesting that Palace made Europe despite losing Pulis. Saints in 14th just behind QPR and above Stoke - predictable I suppose. Tottenham, West Ham and West Brom going down - we'll see how Poch likes it in the championship! Roll on 2015/2016.

Just finished watching Liverpool vs ManU and I have to say I am really chuffed with the funds raised off the sales of Lambert and Shaw. Shaw played OK, but 30 Million? Saints were definitely 'aving a larf. Not worth a third of that money based on what I've seen of him in this tournament. Also, sorry to say Rickie looks washed up. Slow, lumbering, poor touch, one weak shot today. I don't think he would've performed well for Saints this season. Sold him just in time. So, if we can EVER get in some replacements I think we'll be very happy with the funds raised in hindsight. Happy, clappy, chappie....................
