Yeah because we don't score from crosses so no point putting a stream of them in with nobody to get on the end of them. For us to get the most out of Fellows we need him to score some goals because he aint getting many assists in this team. He'll have far more opportunity to score by cutting in from the left and shooting with his right. Liverpool do it all the time from both wings and it can work for us because we get nothing out of crossing as we have no dominant centre forward and mainly short forwards.

If it is us then maybe Will Still should tell the Chairman he has no confidence in some of the players and single out Capt Jack and THB plus others. It works both ways.

Watch him do the same against us next week 🙂

I'm hoping WS has made a big step towards improving the defence by dropping Stephens and THB. Boro scored a pretty lucky goal which seemed to just bounce into the ground and loop over AM. Don't think they created much else so a good start for Wood and Quarshie.

Swap the wide players over so that Fellows can cut into the box and shoot right footed.

Why is a win on Tuesday essential? We are building and finding the best eleven and system to play. Progress made today especially at the back where we looked far more solid without Stephens and THB. We aren't getting promoted this season so it will be one where we evolve. No must win games because we're going to be mid table or just above.

Me too but we all know Capt Shoehorn starts every game unless he has two broken legs. Why is anybody's guess.

Firstly he shouldn't be on social media if he cannot take criticism. Secondly he needs to do a lot more on the pitch - do that and he'll soon win the fans over. It's a rough, tough world and sulking, self pity and feeling hurt wont help him.

I can't disagree. We actually looked like a team where every player understood his role. Give these lads another go then it's up to those not selected to fight for their places. I'd be quite happy to stick to the same starting line up with plenty of strength on the bench. It will not happen and Jander probably won't be fit anyway.

Thought we looked like a proper team with good shape and intentions against Liverpool.

Agree. Remember his debut when he copped a lot of flack (think a lot were jealous of his barnet) but once up to speed he was a superb exponent of proper centre forward play.
