Why? Their recent records are terrible.
-
Not sure. Wouldn't be that upset if he stayed or went.
-
I went on the pitch but went back off after a few minutes when I saw it was just mostly pikeys having a go at the Burnley fans. Whats the point? Idiots.
-
They shouldn't be anymore than they are already. People aren't going to pay over the odds for League 1 football.
-
Yes well done, you're so much better than everyone else.
-
Agreed. Hasn't played well on a consistant basis for two years now. How long will some people keep making excuses for him?

I fully understand and accept why the football league hands out these punishments. I just think it's a real shame that so many of these issues are resolved off the pitch these days in the lower leagues. League 2 is a joke this year with all those teams having deductions. Meanwhile, Lowe and co walk away unscathed and we have to suffer.
-
Yeah why not. Will be more fun than anything on offer on the pitch.

League deduct 10 Points - Will apply in L1 Next Season

Couldn't give a **** about Bournemouth.

Rotherham

That's who Ipswich want apparently

Worst trips: Rotherham, Swansea, Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday

The comeback at Preston is my favourite game from this season. Absolute mental scenes at the end! Charlton and Reading were good days out. Derby was a great performance as well. Thought we might actually do something special after that game lol . Ipswich and Watford were fun too. Great atmosphere at those.

I quite like the look of Mark Robins and Dave Penny at Rotherham and Darlington. Both done good jobs despite point deductions and terrible finacial position. Tisdale wouldn't be a bad choice either. I'd rather have an up and coming manager than someone chosen just because they were an ex player.

Again, if Speed actually wants to get into management why wouldn't he come here if asked? Where else is he going to go? I don't see clubs falling over themselves to get someone totally unproven. Nearly all these people that keep getting mentioned on here, Magilton, Dowie, Tisdale etc would jump at the chance to come here.
-
Magilton would be interested. Lets face it there won't be a huge load of clubs queing up to get him.
-
Oh yeah a real winner. I had almost lost count over how many games he won at Blackburn.
-
No it wasn't at all.
-
Dowie has been living off that half a good season at Palace for years now.
-
Same here. Just one of those teams who are never quite bad enough to go down ( until this season obviously), but never good enough to do much else (Bar one season with McClaren when they finished about 7th and won a cup). People always say Gibson is the best chairman in the league, and in some ways he is, but for the money they've spent Boro have underachieved. He is way too loyal to his managers. Bryan Robson, Steve McClaren and Gareth Southgate, what a rubbish collection of managers. Really hope Newcastle go down with them, now that the Skates seem safe. I worry big time for Hull though, who have been in freefall for what seems like forever.

If a completely predictable league/same teams dominating at the top every year is your thing, then yeah!
