  1. Absolutely gutted. Davies is the one player we should have kept above everyone else. Perry and Svensson won't be able to play every game this season, so we'll struggle when they are out now. Lowe is taking us down again.
  2. Same as Cardiff, good first half but barely touched the ball second. We look so lightweight and ran out of ideas in the second half, with no real options on the bench. It's going to be a long hard season again.
  3. Cranie wasn't good enough to get more than one game in the whole of his last season at the club. We were well shot of the pikey skate ****.
  4. Rubbish draw.
  5. They don't come in until round 3.
  6. I'd like an away game, preferably not one too far north though. Something like West Ham or Fulham would be good.
  7. Birmingham have by far the best squad in the league on paper, and should walk the league. Saints 0-3 Birmingham.
  8. Nice to win an away game for the first time since December, even if it was only against League 2 opposition. McGoldrick is still far from the finished article, but is coming along well and had a decent game tonight. Thompson looked promising again, like he did on Saturday. Agree with Rory about Saintrich's bizzare ratings. Bart kept us in it and overall did pretty well.
  9. What the **** are you on about? Ask 95% of football supporters if they hate another team and they will say they do. (I mean people who actually go to games, not people who spend most of their time correcting people on an Internet forum) All of these old farts who say it's sad to hate another team need to get their heads out their arse and stop looking down on people who do.
  10. Hating teams is what football is all about. It's what makes the atmosphere so special. When you beat someone you hate it makes the win extra special. I did hate Derby, but most of the players from that team who I hated have now left now (Stephen Bywater, Darren Moore, Billy Davies, Steve Howard). That said it would be very sweet if we managed to nick win at Pride Park again.
  11. Bit unlucky to lose IMO, although we did give them way too much of the ball. Great to see Killer back, he was our best player. Davis made some great saves, and Jake Thompson looked very promising. Not sure about Surman and James as full backs though.
  12. 2-0 Saints. I'm not normally confident about these away cup games against lower opposition, but for some reason I am this time.
  13. A shame IMO. Good luck to him in Denmark. Will never forget his hatrick at Wolves, one of the best away games ever.

  15. I know it's been done to death, but there's no doubt Burley well and truly ****ed us over. He was given £7 million, which is huge huge money in this league, as well as inheriting some very good players (Baird, Bale, Jones, Claus, Belmadi etc) and we still only managed to just scrape into the play offs and then failed to win them. We will probably never have a better opportunity to get promoted than that season. The first half and a bit of 2007/08 when he was in charge was absolutely dire as well. It was a real chore going to games.
  16. Yep, been looking forward to it for ages. Anyone know how many tickets we've sold?
