-
Pretty embarrassing really (But not surprising).
-
Yeah Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool have really struggled after they won it.

lol Scooby is the best poster on here.

I was upset when Pearson left and very sceptical about the appointment of Poortvliet, but after today I am starting to have a rethink. Arsenal or Man United would have been proud to have performed like we did today. If we continue playing like we did today I don't think promotion is out of the question at all.

I must admit I was one of the people who would have been happy with Jewell last year. He's gone way way down in my estimation now though. He's had plenty of money and time to turn things around, so it's an absoulte disgrace he's still in a job. I do also find it incredible that he has received little to no criticism from the media.

I was there today as well, and can confirm that the people above aren't exaggerating about our performance today, we really were that great. Lallana, Holmes and Gillet looked class. Schneiderlin is god. Kelvin looked better than ever. Cork came on and slotted in perfectly and didn't put a foot wrong. Amazing performance. The only thing I would say is that we need to be more clinical in front of goal. We created enough chances to win by a lot more.

Well done for answering the questions.

Wes do you honestly believe Phillips wouldn't have scored if he hadn't got any abuse from the crowd? Also, if the chanting has such a negative effect, how do you explain Phillips being utter garbage/missing an open goal when we played West Brom in April, even though he got a load of abuse from our fans again? I await another tedious patronising reply.
-
Phillips is a very good player who has scored hundreds of goals in his career and once scored more than 30 goals in one Premiership season. If you think the only reason someone like that scored that simple goal because of the abuse he received from the crowd then you're an idiot. I sure he may have been extra pleased to have scored it, but that doesn't change the fact that he would have scored no matter what anyone sung or didn't sing.
-
No he didn't, Chris Brunt did.
-
Do be ridiculous. Phillips is a professional who would have tried his absolute best to score whether he was getting abuse or not. Do you really think he thought "I was just going to walk around the pitch doing nothing but now they're singing songs about my wife I'm going to try to score". Of course not.
-
He was going to score whether we sang it or not. We gave him just as much abuse at the Hawthorns last season and he was absolutely ****e that game, missing chance after chance. It won't make any difference either way.

Kelvin Davis to be sold with Rasiak, Saga and Skacel
Papa Shango replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Not convinced the Stoke deal will happen. They've just signed Sorenson who is much better than Davis and have a good number two in Simonsen. Unless Simonsen is on his way out, but does Kelvin really want to sit on the bench at Stoke all season at this stage of his career? -
By playing them in their natural positions in midfield.
-
I'd much rather have Harte at left back than Surman.
-
I seriously doubt he would even be playing league football if his dad wasn't a manager.
-
Real shame he's gone, the lad was class for us. Best of luck to him at Stoke.
-
Exactly. I can't believe people make such a fuss over who wears a stupid armband. In pretty much every other country in the world nobody cares about who the captain is.
-
Didn't think it would take long for you to chip in. You are a sad pathetic lonely clueless moron. You seem to think your quite intelligent and people value your contributions, but you really haven't got a clue about anything. I know someone who's met you and he said you're a complete saddo in real life as well. Please kindly **** off and die. We've lost our (IMO) best player and our performance on the pitch could suffer as a result, which could leave us relegated. If we go down we'll most likely be in a much worse position financially than if we stay up and had kept Davies.
-
So should we just blindly accept everything the club does and never question anything?
