Have you actually seen him play this season? Stats can tell you a lot of things. He's had far more bad games than good. Please tell me which games he has played really well and influenced things for us this season? Uber fan? You're the one who thinks some people don't deserve a club, just because they think someone is a bad player and you think he is a good player.

What a ridiculous thing to say. Fans spend hundreds, if not thousands following Saints, and if they don't think someone is good enough they are perfectly in their right to criticize someone. To say they don't deserve to have a team to support for having a different opinion to you is ridiculous. There's plenty of people who are now recognising Surman for the overrated pile of garbage that he is. That's two bad seasons in a row. How long do we have to wait before he is deemed not good enough? I pray to god he is gone in the summer.

Why? Are fans not allowed a different opinion to you? I've probably seen Surman a hell of a lot more than you have (every game), and the fact is he has been poor for the last two years. For every good game there is about four or five bad ones that follow. In the last two years how often has Surman taken the game by the scruff of the neck and really influenced things for us? Why should he be immune for critcism on here just because he is a local lad? It's not like he's being booed at games, just criticized by some on a message board, what's wrong with that? Isn't that what this place is for? It's perfectly reasonable for people to criticize Surman if they want to. To say it makes them bad fans for doing do is absurd. I guarantee if Surman was a journeyman foreigner he would have had it far worse. Some people defend him just because he is a local lad, of that I have no doubt.

Thought Barcelona would win, but not so comfortably. First 9 minutes aside they completely outclassed United. Iniesta MOTM. So glad Barca won. At least we won't have to hear everyone drone on about how the Premiership is so much better than every other league in the world for a while. (which it isn't imo)

Every club in the country has people jumping on the bandwagon when there's a big game.

Millwall was a good trip when I went before so I'm pleased they've not gone up. Lots of fairly local games next season with Brighton, Millwall, Bristol Rovers, Swindon, Brentford, Wycombe, Gillingham, Leyton Orient, Yeovil etc. Should be some good away days if nothing else.

They are only showing about 10 games. The rest are still on Sky.

Actually, I seem to remember Dominguez (assuming that's who you mean) scoring an absoulte screamer against us in 1997/98. Looked a good player. Was the first game I ever saw us win live, 3-2 If I recall correctly. Great game!

Newcastle are bloody lucky that Hull have collapsed since December. Phil Brown must take most of the blame, for falling out with some key players (Marlon King, Geovanni) and for not spending money better in January (£5million transfer fee, 40k per week wages on overrated/injury prone Jimmy Bullard). They need to win at Bolton on Saturday or they are down, with United on the last day. Can't see it though, they've had enough winnable games in recent months, and they haven't done the business in any of them.

Good, really didn't want to see United vs. Chelsea again. Barca vs. Man Utd should be a great final, Barca to win!

Hoddle is average at best as a manager. Good with us. Rubbish with Spurs, England and Wolves. Alright with Chelsea. Good with Swindon, but mostly because they were carried by a player called, er... Glenn Hoddle. There's been countless players who have come out publicly to say what a bad man manager he is (Beckham, Beattie, Sherwood, Freund, Cascarino, Thatcher etc...) There were at least a dozen managers out there in 2004 that we could have appointed that were better than both Hoddle and Sturrock.
