Right decision. I thought Wotte did ok given the circumstances last season, but there's plenty of managers out there who are more capable. Thanks for an amazing performance away at Ipswich last season, and for the last few weeks of pre season, but it's time now for a fresh start.

I don't understand this mentality of settling for just staying up/mid table. Without spending huge money, we are well capable of pushing for the play offs. If Leeds managed it with -15 why can't we with -10? We have plenty of players who most League 1 players would kill to have. A few more decent signings, and we'll have a great chance.

You don't know what you're talking about. Strachan won three titles in four years at Celtic, which is more than Martin O'Neil, who is viewed as some sort of managerial god. He also got Celtic to the knockout stages of the Champions League twice, something MON never did. That's quite an achievement considering the budget he had at Celtic. He was only unpopular with Celtic fans because he wasn't 'Celtic minded'.

While I'm not as down on Wotte as some people are, I think it's quite obvious there are better options out there.
