  1. Whatever, he's the one who's developed a grudge over me for no reason, insulting me every time I post something that he disagrees with.
  2. What's you're problem with what I've said c*nt? I guarantee I know 10 times more than you'll ever know about football. You think you're a well respected member of this board who knows everything and people value your opinion, but you are really quite clueless, not to mention rather dull. I know someone who know's you in real life and they say you're a pathetic lonely loser, Reynolds.
  3. Yeah Ballack, Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Metzelder etc are rubbish . Most countries would kill to have some of the players Germany had. They're the same players who got to the Euro 2008 final without Klinsmann, and without being on home soil
  4. His record was better than Martin O'Neill, who is seen as a managerial god by most.
  5. He really didn't do that well. They were poor in the lead up to the World Cup. They were hardly average players as well were they? They were at home in the World Cup and beat Costa Rica, Poland, Ecaudor and Sweden. When they came up against some good teams they drew with Argentina and lost to Italy. Popular because he is a big name, nothing more. Much rather have Pardew than him (And I'm far from Pardew's biggest fan)
  6. That's the only club he's ever managed though, and he made a right pigs ear of it. It's like Alan Shearer, people only get excited about people like Klinsmann because he's a big name. If he hadn't been a big international star who played in this country, I guarantee nobody would be mentioning him, based on his managerial record.
  7. He was a complete disaster at Bayern last season, completely clueless. They were 5th or 6th when he left, which is awful for Bayern, considering they have the choice of all the best players from every other team in Germany.
  8. Klinsmann is a poor manager.
  9. Sorry, I wasn't posting that link to have another pop at Pardew. Just wanted to point out that someone apparently thinks he's definitely on his way. We could do worse I suppose.

  11. Such as?
  12. Charlton are a League One team and none of their fans would want him back
  13. And he was in charge of the Charlton team that was even worse than us last season. When he was at West Ham he put Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano on the bench. Anyone who rates the likes Hayden Mullins and Bobby Zamora above those two is not fit to run a football team.
  14. Pardew would be a seriously underwhelming choice.
  15. Would have been happy if he'd stayed here next season, but not devastated he's gone. I think he would have done fairly well at this level, but I don't think he's irreplaceable. Good luck at Plymouth Bradley!
  16. Their run to the final was even easier than ours.
  17. And Adams is mental if he thinks he can get a better job than us.
  18. CB Fry is right. Tisdale is only getting mentioned so much because he is an ex player. If say Andy Scott had played for Saints instead of Tisdale, people would be mentioning him instead. Sammy McIlroy took Macclesfield from the Conference to League 1 in two years as well, but I don't see a big clamour for him. Plenty of young managers have started as well as Tisdale only to fade into obscurity. Tisdale certainly wouldn't be the worst choice in the world, be I don't think he'd be the best either.
  19. Was he? He hadn't even played a senior game 12 months ago. What promise has he ever shown? He's been **** poor in nearly every game he's played.
  20. Says the person who once said on here that Kenwyne Jones will be better than Torres and Drogba.
  21. Because we support Southampton not 'Top level football in the South of England'. FFS we do have some right goons supporting us. Someone upset because our main rivals might be in trouble. If they don't get taken over they aren't going to be 'wiped out'.
  22. Have I missed something here? Why does everyone think the Skates are going to go out of business if this deal doesn't go through? They won't.
  23. Agree that press conferences need to be improved. It's a nice feature, but the questions get a little repetitive. I nearly always leave them to my assistant now. Would love to see a few more leagues. Some more African leagues would be good as would places like Uzbekistan, Qatar, Saudi etc. Doubt this will happen though. I'd also like to be able to create specific training exercises, as opposed to just using sliders.
  24. Yeah I had my most success on FM 05. Managed to win every trophy available in my first two seasons at Villa, and I only signed about 5 new players. I had Carlton Cole who was a goal scoring machine. Reckon FM 2009 has just the right difficulty level. It's nowhere near as easy as some previous versions, but if you work hard you can have plenty of success and it's much more rewarding. Managed to win the SPL with Hearts which I was pretty pleased with. At Betis now, it's going well, but I don't know what I'm going to do get above Real Madrid and Barcelona any time soon. Playing with an update so Real have Ronaldo and Kaka, and they are out of this world. They won the league with 99 points last season. I managed to finish 4th though, and had some great results in the CL. My star players are Sergio Asenjo, Achille Emana, Sofiane Feghouli, Andrea Russotto, Henri Saivet and Tiago Luis.
