  1. What this team lacks is goals. We need another goalscorer, if not two (Austin AND Ings?). We need a midfielder that can create chances and score 10 goals himself. Then we need a gk to replace Forster and a CB to replace Toby if he doesn't sign. A RB if Clyne goes. A replacement for Morgan if he goes too.
  2. Cool!
  3. How's it looking for today's game on Kodi?

    Danny Ings

Me too. One of say, Ings and Austin, and Hernandez (Chichorito). Hernandez is a 6 yard box, poacher kind of striker, the other two aren't so much.
  5. Nice one CL.
  6. Thanks, but I keep getting an error: script failed.
  7. Anyone know if I can watch The Masters on Kodi/XBMC and if so how? Cheers
  8. Seen enough. One swallow doesn't make a summer and all that.
  9. Keep Ramirez? Lol
  10. What's the minimum Internet speed you need to stream HD like this? I have only 5-6mb and it stops and buffers quite often.

its a shame we don't have midfielders that can make our forwards look better than they are.
  12. This ^
  13. He looks too heavy to me. He's a big lump to dive and leap and get off the ground.
  14. Won't be an easy game, and if we can't score, it doesn't matter who we play. What frustrates me is that we create nothing from corners and free kicks.
  15. For me, Lovren's weakness is when he tried too hard. He did this in the 2nd half of last season after coming back from injury and he also did it against spurs and sunderland (I think) when he got rattled. Hopefully, he'll bottle it today.
  16. The best response is to win.
  17. I respect Lambert, he was a legend for us and he left in the best way possible, BUT, he made a mistake going to Liverpool. His career has gone backwards. I'm sure he doesn't care though, he's in his home town and he's on more money than he was here. Lallana and the rest can just do one!
  18. Indeed. The risk, of course, is losing possession, but as long as we're quick and efficient at winning it back, that risk can be outweighed by the benefits it brings.
  19. I've been saying for weeks that we need players that can pop one in out of nothing from outside the box. Currently, imo, we do not have a player capable of doing that. This, for me, is the missing link in our team. If we had an 'Eriksen' our top 4 prospects would be beyond doubt by now.
  20. Brilliant!
  21. Flannigan is a midfielder too.
  22. Morgan not quite ready for 90 mins then.
  23. I've just signed up for unotelly and xbmc on my Mac as I have been having some lagging issues with SportsNationHD. Is this setup available to the iphone? Ideally I want to stream it to me Apple TV, can't see how to do that from within xbmc/Kodi. Cheers
  24. Derry, you're right. I thought Reed played well, broke up play and passed it well but didn't make any incisive passes, runs or dribbles but maybe that's not his game. I feel that schneiderlin and wanyama are holding midfielders and Davis and JWP are kind of general midfielders not so much attacking midfielders and I think a genuine, goalscoring attacking midfielder is what we need. Let's face it, none of the players I've mentioned are a threat to the goal.
  25. Totally this. I've been thinking about this throughout the last few games. Not only do we not shoot enough from distance, but (and maybe this is the reason) we don't really have the kind of players that can score goals such as the one Shelvey did yesterday. Yes, ok, occasionally Clyne might hit a worldy, but it's the "scoring from outside the box" Eriksen type player that we are sorely missing. People have bemoaned the luck of Spurs when Eriksen pops up with a winner in the 88th minute every other game but I feel it's no fluke. When teams defend well against you, like Swansea and others have done against us, you need something extra, a matchwinner, and spurs have that in Eriksen, and Bale before. It's all very well hitting neat body shots but sometimes you just need that knockout punch.
