    itsagoal

Does anyone here play itsagoal? It's an online football management game. You can find it here. I've never played Hattrick, but I know people on itsagoal who have, and they rate itsagoal better.
  2. Didi Hamann. Released by man city.
  3. It's just the echo putting 2 and 2 together to make a story. Mind you, we all do it too don't we?

    The Future

If we are bought, and the club survives, what do you think about what the future holds for Saints? Personally, I think it depends on a few things such as how many minus points we start on, how much money is invested and what changes are made to the staff. IMHO, if we start on -10 in L1, and a reasonable amount of money is put into the squad, I feel we will be looking at around 6-8 years to get to the stage of having a club capable of promotion to the premier league. This is not meant in a negative way, but is, I feel, a realistic view. It could take us 3 seasons to get out of L1, then a lot of investment is needed to build a team good enough for top 6 in the championship. We all know how tough that div is, and there are plenty of teams trying to do the same thing. Obviously, it all depends on investment, and what players we are able to attract to the club. Maybe we'll get out of L1 in 2 seasons, create some excitement and get the right players in, but even then, the championship is tough. We could be there for a while. For me, after all of this stuff that's been happening, not only will I just be happy to have a club to support, I'll be glad to support them no matter what div they're in. We had no divine right to be in the prem, and we have no divine right to be in the championship. It took a lot of us too long to realise and accept that. It turns out we have no divine right to be in the league, but if we continue to be, then let's savour every moment of it! Come on you Saints!
  10. Well, I do watch other football, you know, whisper it, that doesn't involve Saints. I like watching man u, liverpool and arsenal, but not chelsea. I like watching football, but when I can't do that, I'll go and watch Saints! Joke!
  11. We are in such a mess I think we do deserve it. Whether it's justified legally is another matter. If it teaches us a lesson then all well and good. NEVER AGAIN!
  12. WTF does that mean? Are you taking the ****** out of special needs kids? Honestly, I don't know what you mean by that.
  13. Jackson's bought the farm more like!
  14. Radio at work (Heart I think) said Swiss consortium to reveal plans for takeover in the next few days. Nothing more than we already know I guess, but hey, at least it was on the radio
  15. The painter was painting all over the skirting boards, that's why he was told to stop. Mark hands the brush to Michael....... /thinks of old palladium sketch with Bruce Forsyth and ...... oh who was it?
  16. I have absolutely no idea, but I'd say if there was a press conference, it would be at around 5pm. That would finish the day off nicely
  17. This is nothing more than a rumour posted on the Ugly Inside forum. Still, I hope it turns out to be true.
  18. Why would anyone be decorating, considering worst case, the club was gonna be liquidated?
  19. Good on him. He has carried himself with great dignity throughout this debacle. Fair play to him. The team needs guidance and he's all we have. He could've walked, but he hasn't.
  20. Yes, he lost on the 18th hole yesterday and took it rather well. Good sport.
  21. IF we do get a buyer they'll have to move quickly in the transfer market. Don't forget, deadline day is 31st august.
  22. And we believe him? LOL
  23. Close this thread, please.
  24. Yes, I saw that, but if they said that to the Echo, why isn't it quoted? Also, if true, and they did say that to the Echo, you'd think they would've said it to Pinnacle too, no? Echo lies to back up their headline methinks.
  25. Jesus christ! Poor reporting. This statement does not contradict what Matt said. He said it wasn't about the 10 points anymore, there were other issues ie more deductions. The league are saying there were no other issues OTHER THAN a waiver in regard to sporting sanctions. This means Saints allowing themselves to be at risk of further sporting sanctions ie point deductions. Unless the league can come out and say that they had, and have no plans to apply more deductions, then this statement is useless as far as I'm concerned.
