If we are bought, and the club survives, what do you think about what the future holds for Saints? Personally, I think it depends on a few things such as how many minus points we start on, how much money is invested and what changes are made to the staff. IMHO, if we start on -10 in L1, and a reasonable amount of money is put into the squad, I feel we will be looking at around 6-8 years to get to the stage of having a club capable of promotion to the premier league. This is not meant in a negative way, but is, I feel, a realistic view. It could take us 3 seasons to get out of L1, then a lot of investment is needed to build a team good enough for top 6 in the championship. We all know how tough that div is, and there are plenty of teams trying to do the same thing. Obviously, it all depends on investment, and what players we are able to attract to the club. Maybe we'll get out of L1 in 2 seasons, create some excitement and get the right players in, but even then, the championship is tough. We could be there for a while. For me, after all of this stuff that's been happening, not only will I just be happy to have a club to support, I'll be glad to support them no matter what div they're in. We had no divine right to be in the prem, and we have no divine right to be in the championship. It took a lot of us too long to realise and accept that. It turns out we have no divine right to be in the league, but if we continue to be, then let's savour every moment of it! Come on you Saints!

Well, I do watch other football, you know, whisper it, that doesn't involve Saints. I like watching man u, liverpool and arsenal, but not chelsea. I like watching football, but when I can't do that, I'll go and watch Saints! Joke!

Jesus christ! Poor reporting. This statement does not contradict what Matt said. He said it wasn't about the 10 points anymore, there were other issues ie more deductions. The league are saying there were no other issues OTHER THAN a waiver in regard to sporting sanctions. This means Saints allowing themselves to be at risk of further sporting sanctions ie point deductions. Unless the league can come out and say that they had, and have no plans to apply more deductions, then this statement is useless as far as I'm concerned.
