  1. Based on my dutch colleagues and mates they rated Bosz. Based on this article he fits the bill, bought Ziyech and shout out to Frank De Boer for being the dutch Pelligrino in this article. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/may/24/ajax-johan-cruyff-peter-bosz-europa-league "Frank de Boer, Ajax won four successive Dutch titles but, so devout was his attachment to his mentor Louis van Gaal’s principles of possession and patient buildup, the team sometimes took 20 minutes to manage a shot on goal."
  2. Who is currently viewed as the best championship manager?
  3. I wonder if Coleman is regretting jumping to Sunderland so quickly, he could of been in contention for WBA I reckon
  4. knowing our luck we would get ventura the now sacked italy boss
  5. just cr*p, this and puel is making me more and more consider to stop watching, all I want is hope that we could win but not scoring erases any hope the best we can ever hope for is a draw. I have been more used to us being crap than good but we always had le tis so we always had hope. I think Monk nailed it on a few weeks back regarding the recyling possession and try and have a shot from the top of the box may of work in la liga to an extent but here it is a slow death
  6. Was it Higgins
  7. I lied to myself earlier and am watching this game, I predict 4-0 Liverpool and Pellegrino saying how well we played.
  8. Our best hope for a goal is the Liverpool defenders and goalie
  9. Would be funnier if it was a man tho [emoji41]
  10. Chris "I did **** at Fulham, left sociedad and got sacked at Coventry" Coleman. For Wales he relied a lot on Bale dragging them to results. I will be impressed if he starts next season as the Sunderland manager.
  11. After watching all the matches and being bored rigid by our style I'm gonna miss the game out of choice today. I thought about it last night and he reminds me of Graham Taylor when in charge of eng when he kept picking Carlton Palmer ahead of better flair players. The current system does not work and inhibits scoring, if he finally gives 3 at the back a try we may have better luck and a better system for our players. Good luck tho and hopefully I come on here and eat humble pie or take credit for a positive result.
  12. Watford just rejected approach from everton for silva
  13. If we score 10 goals in the next 10 games I will eat my pants.
  14. I would suggest we find the best manager employed or not who plays attacking pressing football and sets up his team to try to win not to not lose. Who out there can do this is the million dollar question. I believe Tuchel has been given the nod and is off to Arsenal next year.
  15. I think most attackers struggle to breakdown the opposition when the speed at what we play at would enable an OAP to get back in time.
  16. yeah it seemed to be a more politically correct driven list
  17. Pelligrino wasn't even rated in the top 50 coaches in the world last jan, although a couple of people on that list no longer look good, cough cough koeman, mark sampson !! https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/fourfourtwos-50-best-football-managers-world-2017
  18. No one runs away from a money pit for too long
  19. Good managers improve players.....
  20. ironic
  21. That had me chuckling and unlike the team you delivered a great performance in your write up :-)
  22. Yeah Branfoot showed how well that worked. Is football about running backwards and stopping goals or going forwards and scoring them ? They are both right but when you lean too much one way you negate the other and for the last season and a bit we have leaned too much on the defensive side as new managers in a league try to keep it tight to not put themselves under pressure. The area Puel failed at was once we were over the hump of the season was not dropping a gear and opening this baby up to see what we could do. Poch and Koeman were more open to going forward as the first line of defence in my opinion. Where we are at now is a manager who likes predictability on his players so he can play formations and set up the team specifically. The issue is that those players cannot breakdown what the opposition is doing to stop us quickly enough to create/scores goals enough, so do we stick (and hope it works out) or twist and add Boufal into the mix knowing he is unpredictable but that will mess up the dynamic of how the other team sets up and create more space/chances for him and others.
  23. Boufal walking into the dressing room
  24. hahahahahahhahahahaha doddislegend
