Think we can all agree that we've been talking about lack of central midfield goals from JWP/Davis for the last 2 seasons and we definitely have needed a clinical striker since Ricky left our current lot need too many chances and if Tadic/Madic are off form supplying them then we have no chance.

Imbula has been pretty average for Porto this season hence they want rid after only 6 months, "can't settle" is a euphemism for he's crap for the money we paid for him and we need someone else.

central midfielders preferably attacking who know how to score. I think Davis has been awesome this year for us but he still has only scored 2 goals in 1.5 seasons so far and jwp the FEC has 1 goal which is a penalty. Look what Eriksen (Ajax - Eredevisie product) does for spurs and he cost like 10mil. Rather than create problems create solutions so I'd like to see this guys come in, Hakim Ziyech, scored 10 from AM so far this season for Twente.

Thought Claise and Vic were immense in midfield, Mane worked selflessly as did Davis. But special shout out for Cuco and Shane, great goals and Shane's work rate was fantastic.

Clasie is not the midfield destroyer Vic and Romeu are. Him and JWP are meant to be the artisans, deep lying play markers either spotting runs of the front 3 or feeding Davis or the wide men. Neither of them have had a long time in the team but Clasie played in a World Cup semi, captained feyanoord and 3 games ago was getting great reviews on here.

Victor Wanyama is the only world class interviewer we have in the squad and his dedication to training overrides helping animals in distress, he is already world class.

I always like to write what I think before I read this thread so my observations are as follows: Caulker was damned if he did or if he didn't show him either side for the 1st Cedric lost the runner for the first goal, great ball by Can for 2nd 3rd was just a great strike Why hasn't Can be yellow carded as yet. What is Clasie doing in this game (I'm his biggest fan) Whose playing on Joe Allen? Will Pelle ever not complain that the ball isn't in the perfect position for him to score everytime? Will the ref and linesman make decisions on the game rather than which club has the most twitter followers to troll them. Only hope I have is if Klopp keeps this up he will be leaving for a bigger club than liverpool.

I watched all the prelims fine no issues and then just before the ring walk i got booted out and couldn't get back in. Was well fecked off, found a dodgier stream before it started tho.
