We have struggled to score from midfield for 3-4 seasons now. I don't think its down to the forwards, Zlatan has just had a goal drought and he is a quality striker. We need goals from other areas i.e midfield. I'd take Hatem Ben Arfa on loan (subsidised wages) from PSG with an option to buy. Have him top of the diamond and Davis/Hojberg as the shuttlers as they both go forward as their first instinct

With the possession approach didn't Claude say we had to play this way rather than the classic up and down style because if we play every 3 days otherwise we would be knackered very quickly

Against supposedly easier teams like Hull etc I would of hoped we would of played this forward/midfield line up, i feel it has a lot more goals in it Boufal-Austin-Redmond Tadic Davis Hojberg Romeu

I've seen nothing from JWP to suggest he should be ahead of clasie. Clasie is a good fit for when we expect to be attacked more as he complements Romeu defenisvely in his shuttler role rather than the attack the other shuttler does.

gazza got a good review from the last game from their fans, lost 3-2 at tenerife but they said they would of lost by a lot more if it wasnt for him. He still started off dodgy but seems to be getting a run of games and get confidence, RV are really really poor though so the goals are down to being a cr*p team
