Been wasting some time and thought I would check out the south american leagues and looked for some articles that would highlight the best most talented youngsters to be playing on the continent who could adapt to our league. Had already done some research on the below 2 before I found this article, I can't remember who our south american expert is but would be interested in the opinion on these dudes, am liking Balenta and Lanzini but reckon they are $$$$. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1693462-6-of-the-best-south-american-players-you-possibly-havent-heard-of-yet

I lived on in sentosa cove for 4yrs until 2 yrs ago and defo recommend going to do the following with the kids for a day out. Indoor skydiving: http://www.sentosa.com.sg/en/attractions/beaches/ifly-singapore/ Megazip: http://www.sentosa.com.sg/en/attractions/imbiah-lookout/megazip-adventure-park/ Also plenty of beach bars to drink and have lunch in afterwards, also I wouldn't walk anywhere as it's always humid as **** and taxi's are cheap as chips.

I came into this thread thinking we was discussing Glasgow being Barry or at the least that 1 photo of tokes making the beast with 2 backs with his father in law but I have not been disappointed with what I found, classic double pump action yoghurt shotgun for the ladies

I suppose it will entirely depend on where Poch see's where the biggest problem is, either Centre Half or Central Attacking Midfielder, create goals or defend goals. Currently on the defend goals view but would not argue if we got a attacking midfielder, if we got a right back i would say poch needs to be certified

Evaluate our coaches - Who does what ?
Convict Colony replied to Convict Colony's topic in The Saints
Look at Barca they have a pre-ordained policy of buying midfielders with the intention of using them as ball playing centre halve's, Song, Mascherano etc -
I am always interested in the specific specialities of the coaching system and what each of them brings, what they are tasked with and if possible whose rated highly v those not so much. Would be interested to know the thoughts of anyone who has the inside scoop and what the informal feedback is.

Realistic target placing next season - current squad?
Convict Colony replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
****ing hell when's the next game we've got too much time on our hands, team are decent, we still wont truly know how good we are until Mopo gets all his players fit and accustomed to the league, think maybe Feb/Mar will show us our true potential as this is our 1st season being maurico's team. Agree that the squad depth needs to improve but thats what the youngsters are for, I think we can consistently be placed in the top 10 with seasonal oscillations higher dependent on singular quality additions. If we want CL then I think another 3 players who are the best available players for that position in our system, it doesn't necessarily mean beacoup $$$ to get the either. -
just wish we could tighten up our final 3rd play, Jrod looked like the ball was an occasional visitor and the amount of times we were tackled in the final third was impressive. Will revisit this discussion if in Feb we haven't picked up with our fully fit squad and our pressing game isn't being stressed by a load of games over a week and a half = tiredness. On plus point we may get another player now ?

Personally I would like a central attacking midfielder to replace the Davis/Lambert position or get a right attacking midfielder and move adam into the central slot if Gaston isn't the long term solution in either of those positions. Also a centre half who can play in either left back or defensive midfield or is that asking too much ?

hahahhahaha no bites yet :-)

As good as official and Brendon Rodgers had JWP watched at Everton as well @murraygroves Tancredi Palmeri @tancredipalmeri 17m Southampton have enquired again for Cagliari's defender Astori
-
Brendan Rogers had Southampton and England u21 set-piece specialist James Ward-Prowse watched at yesterday's game at Everton. @murraygroves No wonder he was ****
-
For some reason the everton fans think that the only reason we gave them a game is cos they had some changes and we had our strongest team out !!!
-
Gaston had the 2nd most shots on goal behind Luke Shaw, I think he should get a game

Some area's we apparently can improve on, don't think we could disagree too much, creating chances, offsides, one on ones, concede fewer fouls and win more aerial duels. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1902708-southampton-5-areas-the-saints-can-improve-on-in-2014
