The key word i think is pragmatic, we need a pragmatic manager. Not someone with a philosohpy, someone who assess's team and tactics based on upcoming games. They should have 2-3 preferred formations that can be adopted in game as needed and start with 6-7 core players but that evolves based on form over the season, not just stick with them no matter how shit they are.
