Warnock said they have one of the strongest 1st 11s in the league last year. They can beat anyone if theyre all fit but they have no depth. Hope you have as much fun as we did there last year, a last min pen and seeing Liam Lawrence getting sent off for arguing about it....even though he was right and there was a ball mark on his chest.

That Reading shirt is disgusting, I cant believe they have the nerve to think they wear hoops.
-
its a gamble, if Saints are in the top 6 then people will pay more walk up prices, if they are mid table or lower then people wont bother. At QPR, STs work out at £34 per game but £52 for walk ups, I really see that failing as we will be involved in a relegation scrap and wont even sell out 18k for half the games.
-
If Saints got promoted, they would just charge more for tickets until they are on the verge of not selling out. It makes little sense to invest millions which will take years to make back and only if they sell out when they can just charge more with no initial outlay. I know 1st hand this is an option even with an 18k stadium in the prem.
-
Good decision, teams go 1-0 up and all the ball boys disappear or take twice as long getting the balls. clubs were obviously taking the **** and not even hiding the fact that they had instructed the ball boys to change their behaviour based on the score.
-
Not really, you can spot football fans even if they arent in colours. We noticed there were loads of dodgy looking types when Swansea played and of course it kicked off but they were fighting with the filth. Weve had trouble every time the Welsh come to town and they despise English football fans.
-
My team isnt in the same league any more, I got hit by a coin to the head last time but I had a hat on, if I didnt then it would have split my head open. Cardiff are also pretty bad too, they will bump into people and apologise and then wait for a "no problem" or "thats ok" and attack as soon as they realise its an English accent so keep your mouth shut up there.....or get practising on a boyo accent.
-
There were no problems with Leeds, Birmingham or Forest in the games I saw in the last couple of years, Millwall on the other hand was a nightmare both home and away. Wear a hat for the away game as the filth will lock you in a fenced off area where debris will rain down on you from the home fans and youll be stuck there for an hour unable to move.

Cole is a good player but on near 100k a week and ive never rated Jenas and I bet hes on huge wages too. Same goes for Keane, 80k wages for little return.
-
Well my team have been linked with 4 of them unfortunately. Jenas, Cole, Keane and Carew and out of those, Id only want Carew.
-
True about Keane but theyve already offered to double Bas wages to get him to stay. Bellamy will also be back. Last seasons NPC was the easiest to get promoted in years. As it stands now, Saints will do very well to get out of the bottom half of the table. Also, of those listed, Taarabt is a midfielder and Sinclair is a winger. WHU>>QPR Birmingham>>Norwich Blackpool=Swansea Does anyone actually think the 3 teams that went up are better than the 3 who came down?
-
On the other hand, you have Keane, Cole, Campbell, Ba and Zigic replacing them. The league is much, much tougher than it was last season.
-
With Lotto shirts, the largest would be XXXXXXXXL as you have to go up 3 sizes! Imagine having to go in and ask for that.

It exists now to keep men in their 60s and 70s flush with cash and letting them have a lavish lifestyle jetting all over the world. I can only hope Switzerland finds Blatter guilty of corruption and bans him from the country, then he cant lead FIFA. Like you, Id love to know how the FA gave up the governance to a bunch of crooks, I dont see the US giving up the baseball rights to a bunch and Asians any time soon.
-
Its a disgrace that the election is going ahead, Blatter is exhibiting the behaviour of all the true dictators. Remove the person running against you and have a 1 man election. Its got to the point that Id happily celebrate his death. There needs to be someone else at the top and there needs to be a separate corruption unit that arent accountable to anyone in FIFA. Time for a UK led breakaway.

He might be settled and not want to move house The bookies have us finishing in 9th place according to their odds. It will take somewhere between £10-£20m to stay up. Seeing as Mittal is trying to buy out Flav and Bernie, he said he will spend whatever he needs to make us successful. That will come true once Tango and Cash are gone.
-
FIFA are corrupt to the core starting at the very top. The only way forward is for the FA to have the balls to start a new governing body. Im sure most of Euope would follow and only the tin pot middle east, African and Central American countries would be left in FIFA, no loss to anyone. Then they can ban clubs from paying agents, forbid 3rd party ownership worldwide, start a salary cap. Basically fix all the problems FIFA have created over the last few decades.
-
I hate both sides, Fergie is an arrogant **** and Barca are the biggest divers in the world. Id love it if they could both lose.
-
Apparently that includes all cup and Euro games too so it may well be cheaper to watch arsenal per game than Leeds.
-
Rumours are hes going to QPR, I suppose that would depend on if WHU or Cardiff get Warnock.
-
Saints 4th favourits for promotion! SKY BET.
Flyer replied to SOTONS EAST SIDE's topic in The Saints
Those odds are mental, Brighton have shorter odds than Leeds? They cover spending power, QPR were always among the favourites before the season started based purely on the fact we had to power to go out and spend £20m, same applies to Saints. I think youll see a truer reflection once the window closes. -
Exactly, their wage bill is more than that of QPR and Cardiff combined! As you said, a great 2nd half of the season and I think they will carry that momentum into next year although a lot will happen until the window closes.
-
Match day prices are really expensive but STs save about £15 a game so £35 to sit behind the goal isnt too bad if you buy a ST. I think theyre trying to fleece the people that only want to see Man U, Liverpool etc as those will be even more expensive while Wigan, Stoke etc will be cheaper. The £52-£72 is only the average cost.
-
Ill go for an unbiased prediction Birmingham Reading/Swansea -------------- Leeds Leicester WHU Middlesboro
-
Imagine 20k in that stadium in the NPC. I hope spurs win a review purely on the fact that they will be taking out the track.
