He admits to saying it but only in the context of "I didnt call you a black c***" which is a lame defence. Hes been caught on camera and is now trying to squirm out of it. The Independent are saying Ferdinand is going to make a complaint. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/exclusive-ferdinand-wants-fa-to-probe-terry-racism-claims-2375470.html Nothing will happen though.
-
Surely youd expect a ban for either, calling a ref a "blind c***" is more than enough to get a ban.
-
Terry is a prize ****, he was crying to the ref at every decision but nothing will be done, the FA will say theres no enough evidence. Racism accusations have also followed Terry around and remember 1 player said theres a racist in the England squad. QPR are going to meet with Ferdinand to discuss things. And finally, I hate the scum and they were lucky not to finish the game with 7 men, the crowd got to them, including Terry, some were visibly shocked.
-
Next thing you know they will be wanting to have a draft. What they will do is have a minimum ground capacity of 35-40k to get rid of the likes or Fulham, QPR and Norwich and get the likes of WHU, Leeds in. The good news is most of the foreign owned clubs are the ones at the top, how many of the relegation fodder are foreign owned?

Ive been to Loftus Road WHL Craven Cottage Old Wembley Stamford Bridge Fratton Park Millenium Stadium New Den Ashton Gate Selhurst Park Country Ground, aldershot. but the only old/new ground Ive been to is SMS and the dell and I much prefer the dell.

What will happen is sky will bid for the EU wide rights and then charge an extra tenner a month for Uk viewers to recover the cost. Short term, the PL can have a permanent logo on screen which is copyrighted which means the games cant be sold like they are now. Nothing will change apart from a logo on foreign broadcasts and more expensive subscriptions after the next bid process.

Im sure thats just some bloke standing on top of the dugout recording it on his phone. I was told the gantry was condemned there but the last time I was there, there was still someone on the top with a camera but the crappy lower view was shown.

A bit like Adel Taarabt without the temper tantrums

If he scores 19 goals and gets 23 primary assists, he can be compared to Taarabt, until then.... -
He said that to another player as part of a wind up. Its no different to how kids tell each other their dads earn £100k in the playground.
-
Hes on about half that. He was great yesterday and was a great signing on a free and like Adel Taarabt, always makes the games entertaining but fans of the opposition will usually hate them. Event he wolves fans were saying he was right to signal 3-0 at the end after the abuse he got from the crowd

Cant believe no one has mentioned Briatore, he is now available...

They manage it in ice hockey, if a decision is reviewed and the ref is incorrect, anything that happens after is invalid. Replays should be used for all goals/goaline decisions, all red cards and penalties and the 4th official should be allowed to review the monitor at will. Every game should be reviewed for dives too. This would stop all diving apart from finals when players would risk a 5 match ban if it won the cup. The more they clamp down on stuff, the more players will cheat and the more deicisons the refs will get wrong, the only thing they need to clamp down on is cheating. The 10 yard dissent rule was good, Id also bring in the foam to mark out 10 yards so the players cant cheat there either.
-
Thats the other thing, Id rather see 5 penalties not give than 1 penalty that isnt a foul given. Rugby refs dont give anything unless they are sure. Football refs give everything unless they are sure its not a foul. The whole system rewards divers and cheaters, especially when you could get a pen and a red card for the opponent if you cheat and only get a yellow yourself if you get caught.
-
Rugby refs rarely make a mistake because the players arent trying to cheat all the time. footballers cheat dozens of times every game. Cut out the cheating and you cut out 90+% of ref mistakes. They need 5 match bans for anyone who cheats and that includes going down when you could have stayed on your feet, thats still cheating.

You dont want him, I had the misfortune to watch him play many games for QPR, he wore poncy yellow boots but played like a pub footballer and was scared of everyone. Hes 6ft but plays like hes 5ft5".
-
I just read Puncheon paid 25% of the loan fee himself. Saints put it up at the last minute, QPR refused to pay so it was up to the player.

If we were still at the Dell, where would be in the leagues?
Flyer replied to 1976_Child's topic in The Saints
Its not modern stadiums, its bad modern stadiums. This is the ground I want. A modern stadium in the style of the Dell of Loftus road. http://www.stadiumguide.com/bessa.htm -

i think Saints would still be in the prem, look at the teams with the flatpack soulless bowl stadiums, nearly all of them have either got relegated or stayed in the NPC. Saints, Derby, Coventry, Boro, Donny, Cardiff, Leicester. Only Swansea have a single tier bowl in the prem and they wont be there next season. When QPR get a new stadium, I hope its a bigger, modern version with legroom. Anyone who went to the dell would have loved a 33k stadium in the same style. -
Its a good business move to keep the price low in case he wants to buy him later on.
-
You do know you can change the squad in January, Puncheons loan finished then so thats one off the books. Beckham has to wait until the window opens as hes played for another team while the window is closed. TF has been great, hes back NW and done 3 months worth of dealing in 10 days, has refunded STs and has reduced match day prices already. He talks and listens to fans which is a far cry from most chaimen.
-
Signing Beckham would make money for any PL team with the exposure and merchandise. i dont think he will end at up LR but probably somewhere like Villa that plays good football and where he can play every week.
-
Which striker could you realistically see us getting on the Bus next week?
Flyer replied to AndyD's topic in The Saints
Hes not, he was a guest at a mates coaching course and told them being a footballer was easy, they didnt have to eat properly or train hard and generally was a complete ****. Agyemang and Hulse are available from QPR if you need pace or a target man. -
Youll like this. ""I will give 100 per cent effort every time I play," he said adamantly. "I always give everything for the team, and hopefully I can add one or two goals as well - maybe more!" http://www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~2439955,00.html

Hes not going to be ahead of Taarabt and SWP so that leaves 1 space behind the front man for him to compete along with Smith, Mackie, Ephraim and Buzsaky. He wont even make the bench for some games.
