A cheeky bid for a season long loan of Daniel Strridge would be damn fine.

Revealing Adkins comment on Player about memorial cup

I am trying to add some balance. In my post i have exactly that,a balanced opinion of Adkins....i am yet to be convinced that he has what it takes when under pressure as he has not faced any yet. When that time comes,in the face of adversity, that will be a true test of strength, character and managerial capabilities. Many have decided already that he is be all and end all.Yet he has not been tested one iota. -

Just an opinion nothing more, nothing less. Not on this thread, but continually on other threads, the nauseating unrelenting worshipping goes on. Purile? a bit like your opening sentence you mean...or even the fact you had to make a statement about it at all. The irony. -

Well done, your contibution is invaluable. Thank god my subscription is due for renewal, and i won't have to annoy you any further with my grammatical errors. This place is rapidly going down hill. How dare anyone have a differing opinion. -
High blood pressure and cholestrol and a regular intake of Statins and Losartin. Costs me a fortune in perscriptions.

You made an assumption that i " don't like him". That is incorrect, i have nothing to base a decision on, barring the fact he is SFCs' manager, so i reitterate i remain undecided if he is the ideal person for the job that he is currently employed to do.That will be proven when/if he has to show some real managerial nous,Which i suspect he will have to show this season in the NPC. As a person ...i don't know the man..do you? His grasp of the spoken word, however, does baffle me on occasions. But he should not be pilloried for that fact, neither should he be held on a pedastool either. -
I would like it to be Kenny Miller.

The fawning over the bloke makes me want to vomit. Sorry, but it amazes me. Untested at a decent level, yet people cream themselves over every move and comment he does/makes. He speaks in riddles and still needs to prove himself worthy of all the praise,he has done nothing revolutionary at saints thus far..imo. A little bit of balance would not go amiss. Unfortunately because i seem to go against the grain, reference my lapping up everything he does/says,i am castigated. The views on here are often so black and white, you either love him or hate him,for me it's neither,i remain undecided, but pleasantly comfortable that he is at the helm, but he needs to be put under pressure to show his true worth...which will happen this coming season. At this moment i think he has done ok,i sincerely hope he becomes a great, but as of now it is way too early to plant myself in the 'Adkins is a beyond reproach' camp. Nothing vindictive, just keeping my feet on the ground. -

That is one way of looking at it i suppose. Putting a positive spin on everything certainly helps, for some. -
My dad did this also and painted it red and white stripes, came in very handy being a shortarse when in the family centre.

My dad, being a saints, fan took me from an early age. Started going in 1975 and was hooked from then. Was always difficult and took a lot of stick throughout my schooling because of the fact i lived in Gosport and everyone else supported Pompey. Used to be fantastic as we travelled up and down the country. My Dad started up a taxi company here in Gosport with his friend and both my dad and i with his friend and his son would use the minibuses to go to away games. I remember as a kid the journeys seemed never ending,Preston,Leeds Sheffield to name just a few.We always stppoed for fish and chips on the way back. Sometimes when a minibus was unavailable we used to have to do the trip an Ford Princess or Ambassador, nightmare falling asleep in those. If we were lucky we could use the plush and spacious Granada! Many times i was picked up at lunchtime from school for a dentist appointment, never to return later in the day as i was heading for an adventure to see the Saints. Brilliant times, hope i will pass on these great memorys and times to my little boy...obviously not jepoardizing his schooling of course.

pn_neil_allen Neil Allen I think many people will be seeing a certain #Pompey owner in a different light after reading tomorrow's News. Time promises were kept.
-
Arkadi sold his football club today and apparently PFC are going to be front page in 'the News' the Portsmouth newspaper. The reporter won't let on what it is about however. Here's hoping for something interesting. Of late, the 'news' and PFC have not been the greatest of allies.

Good effort Gosport Borough Council, however i get the feeling with the details not being made public something else fishy is going on... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/politics/gosport_borough_council_wins_legal_fight_against_sacha_over_axed_ground_1_2865663

Kenny Miller wants to leave Buraspor, would'nt mind trying to tempt him. Probably back to Rangers i suspect. And would cost a fortune.
-
Safari (web browser)...opening a new 'tab'......i did'nt really have to explain that did i?
-
Away from the obvious game reserve/animal puns....... Safari..should keep tabs on him.
-
Biel take the lead,Safari scores again. Goal from nothing Chambo smashes it home. 3-3
-
2nd half is noticeably quieter than the 1st with Saints being overrun in midfield on occasions. Forecast has made several saves Forecast playing his part ok,thus far,it seems.
-
We used to play like two different sides in each half last season,on occasions.
-
50 mins: Not great defending by #saintsfc, through-ball somehow finds its way through to Safari who slots it past Forecast. 2-2 66 mins: Forecast makes a good stop and Butterfield then somehow clears it off the line. Hanging on at the moment in monsoon conditions
-
Half time. Saints 2-1 up.
-
37 mins: Bialkowski keeps #saintsfc in front again with another cracking save, then pounces on a rebound from the resulting corner. Sound as though he is playing well, few tweets of this nature, thus far.

2-1,Shniederlien gives a lazy pass and Biel score.
