  1. It's not about winning every game. Please, take a look at the bigger picture. You appear only to be able to pick and select miniscule previous events to back up you overwhelming blind faith in the man. Have we really moved on any great strides? I await the usual 'statistic' post. Which in all honesty proves nothing, when all that counts is the progression of SFC. We continue to fail when it really matters.
  2. Ahh i knew i would get one,and no surprise it is you. It's not about one game, and you know that.I have been steadfast in my opinions from day one,and ate humble pie when it looked as though he was really going to do the business. But yesterdays showing was attrocious,by all accounts. You can carry on wetting yourself with his wonderous appointment and i will remain in the 'meh' he is ok camp. He has done nothing yet.
  3. He really is not that good. This is almost vomit inducing. Even at one point people were fawning over his interview skills.......his interviews are appalling, incomperhensible nonsense. I am now back in the underwhelmed camp. We will lose games, and the one thing that has been missing is inconsistancy but yesterdays manner of defeat is unacceptable. I thought he had turned a corner but i am little less convinced now. He is not a top man,he is mediocre. The sooner some of you realise, the better.
  4. Ok,it is not beyond the realms of possibility that we could nick a win, just a little mad to think so perhaps. Leeds turned them over at Old Trafford, mind you they then went on to not register a win for 14 games i believe.Completely ruined their promotion campaign. I think Fergusson will field a strong side and show us some respect in doing so. I see....3-1 Man U.And tbh,i would settle for that.
  5. Something to take our minds of todays dismal showing.Or perhaps not depending on your viewpoint. Who will they rest to give us a chance. Can we keep the score respectable?
  6. Hav'nt really moved on in any great leaps and bounds. We remain 'standing still' despite all that is available to aid our manager.
  7. Showed all our frailties in one 90 mins.
  8. This. I'd just about given up posting this kind of comment. Glad to see someone else taking on the mantle.
  9. Floodlight failure at Fratton, cue the 'money in the meter' jokes
  10. You make the point very well. You do now know you will be castigated for implying, like myself, that Adkins is not the faultless aquisition many think he is. And using his name in the same sentance as Pardews is almost a hanging offence.
  11. Man Utd wont know what hit them next week.
  12. Leeds equalise. Something i suppose
  13. And took them down once. Apologies, just being antagonistic...which is completely out of character...honest.
  14. No changes made for the start of the second half, apparently.
  15. Au contraire. But i'm sure it will be if we go on to win.
  16. I knew you would come round to my way of thinking, better late than never. Just when i was warming to him.
  17. The irony is astounding.
  18. you argue your point so eloquently,at least you did not 'disappear' like last time.
  19. This was always a concern of mine when the draw was made. Perhaps they should be playing themselves into contention for the starting 11.
  20. You are obviously happy with the performance thus far. No one is beyond critism. You cant have much faith and confidence if you are resigning us to other losses before this game is over. I like to air on the side that we can beat anyone in this league, especially with the resources available. I hope Adkins does not share your sentiments about accep[table losses. Plenty of time to turn it around today, with some guil, determination and tactical nous.
  21. Hoofball seems to be the order of the day.
  22. We are second best in all departments it seems. Another side that has done its homework. Sort it out Adkins,i sincerely don't want to start losing faith in you....again
  23. A finger in the botty never hurt anyone.
  24. I too heard this, apparently he wanted more than the £65k a week he is on now. Staggering.
