We almost got into the play offs last season with a 10 point deficit. It should not be difficult to do the same again without a deficit and a team playing at their full potential. I so hope we get out of this league under Adkins,but surely you agree we are not playing to our optimum capabilities. I reitterate, i don't expect us to sweep other teams aside,but we are not playing well.

That statement is backward thinking in my view,not meaning to offend. We must surely crave improvement? Look long term,not just the 'now'.

I would not settle for this,when only last sesson he was scoring for fun. Something fundementally is not right,not only with Lambert but with the squad in general. As for Morgan and lambert and others it appears we are having to make excuses for their underperforming......that is not right,imo. Perhaps i am alone in my stance of 'all is not rosey' but i will stick to it and respect the opposing view.

Have we improved under Adkins? Yes or no. If you answer yes,i believe you are wrong. But as in life,you are entiltled to your opinion. Are you confident of victory when going into games? Yes or no. If you answer yes then you are lieing to yourself,imo. We are unconvincing and flatter to decieve with the results and the form table that many appear to base all things upon.

Still does not disguise the fact,we are playing poor football with a sqaud capable of alot more. He is not getting the best out of this squad. I am fully behind him and long for him to do well,but,he is not going to improve our playing style and will reach his pinnacle with saints if and when he gains promotion from league one,no more. He is not going to lead us to the premiership,just a mediocre league one side struggling to get past **** poor sides. Lambert is a mere spectator for the majority of the time,no confidence and little contribution form a man that only last year was stunning,has Adkins done anything to address this,it appears not,he seems nowhere near his best...along with others...this,i put down to Adkins. Players do not become **** poor overnight,yet we appear all very happy with a couple of results against Tranmere and Notts County and all in the garden is rosey. The same people that were wetting themselves over the Adkins appointment are now going to proclaim he the best thing since sliced bread...but in my view he is not that good a manager,ffs.

I still remain unconvinced that Adkins is the man to take us forward. Any manager worth his salt should get this squad promoted,however,we are still playing in an unconvincing manner. We beat a poor Tranmere and a 10 man Notts County side,besides that we have been poor. He may still gain us promotion,and i surely hope he does,but he will not be here this time next year. The managerial revolving door will be in operation soon, promotion this season or not. Some still see him as the 'new messiah' after a couple of results,however we are playing mediocre football with a squad capable of alot more. Prove me wrong Adkins,but thus far we are inferior to last season. I do not go in to games confident of a victory. The style of football that so many on here were convinced we would play,quick fluid passing with width and flair,when he was appointed has been non exsistant. Sfc and Scunny are tottally different animals. Mediocre manager, managing a medicore side that should be producing more. All imo.

I completely concur. I never thought him as a long term appointment. That was one of the reasons i was against his appointment from the off. Vastly differering animals,Scunny and SFC.

I think he will get us promoted,eventually,if he is given time. And i surely hope he does,but i'm not convinced he is going to take us on to another level be it in league one or the Championship.

Has there been any sign of this fast free flowing football with width that many were proclaiming we would adopt since Adkins took over? I have only managed to get to 4 games since he has been in charge and have'nt seen much of it,thus far.

I am not overly confident going into any match,be it home or away.
