I am not surprised one iota. Pinnacle appeared to be quite serious initially,obviously. I think this enthusiasm soon began to dissapear,possibly because the "new money man" Fialka was full of **** and wind,and this became apparent to MLT,eventually. Matt, i think you were taken in,hook line and sinker. The league have not come out of this fiasco at all well either,fecked up the -10 ruling,and now maywell be trying to put in place other sanctions against us......this is just the excuse for Pinnacle to bail out.

Well,whoever it is they need to be installed bloody sharpish,if/when the deal is concluded.

100% agree. I however have a nagging doubt that there is anyone with with any substantial financial clout behind Fialka/Lynam/Pinnacle. The money thus far,i believe,has quite possibly been cobbled together and once the club has been "purchased" we will be back to not having a pot too **** in.

I do not know enough about Pinnacle to have concrete evidence that they are not the best option to take SFC forward but if it means SFC remains then i will take it. At this moment in time my thoughts on Pinnacle are very mixed,initially i was enthused but this has somewhat diminished with the dissapointing revelations about Fialka, i really hope there is more susbstance to the "consortium" than Tony Lynam and Micheal Fialka.

Well,that depends on your stance reference the credibility of Pinnacle,and that they are the best possible deal in both the short term and long term. I am yet to be convinced,but atleast we may still have a club.

Gary Cotterill live on Sky....MLT statement,"deal with Pinnacle will be concluded by Tuesday at the latest,quite possibly Monday". "Pinnacle will concede, ref the appeal, and this is now going to be resolved"

According to Meridian.......Pinnacle have agreed to pay all costs for an appeal should they win or lose,this proposal has been presented to the league,plus they will give assurances they will not sue the League. According to Tony Lynam he believes that Pinnacle are facing a smear campaign and that MF has plenty of wealth and also wealthy colleages,he paid £30 million just the other day in a deal.

I think MLT has been sucked into something without knowing the whole truth behind Fialka and Pinnacle. I also believe he was caught unawares as to Fialka tv appearance and to his full,and proper credentials, to takeover at SFC. IMO.

Too me, it does matter. I don't want to see cracks appearing before we even get it signed tbh. If you heard MLT on Solent this AM he was not convincing at all,sounded down and irked by alot of the goings on,not just with the echo or the football league either.
