I spent three weeks in Manila visiting my daughter over Christmas and was surprised how poor the TV coverage was - they seem to be obsessed with basketball which is rather odd considering that Filipinos are not exactly tall.

I went to that game, the girls screamed every time Tommy Steele got near the ball. I think it was against a Managers' X! rather than Saints though - Ted Bates used to turn out for them quite regularly.

Oscar Wilde is hailed as being a genius - it's odd how his image has been protected considering he openly cavorted with under aged boys whilst living in Paris.

Oops - 4 draws and a loss in five games. It took us 17 more games to get two more wins though.

Indeed - in the year we were relegated from the PL we had 4 points after 7 games and were in 17th position (the same as now). The next four games brought 4 draws and a loss - if we could improve on that I would be more optimistic.
