He's gone. I still miss him and always will but he's not coming back and nor should he. That said, I'd be grinning like a Cheshire Cat if he did!

Time enough to ensure we get to Sheffield in plenty of time. -

The nipper and I appear to have a dental appointment the afternoon of the match so will both be leaving school early. -
I so miss SRL.
-
Silly as it is, that made me well up.
-
Depends. Plenty of manufacturing jobs around here have mandatory overtime.
-
Reciprocal pricing. It's cheap as chips away to the Toon as we agreed a deal with them. We offered to do it with every club I believe.
-
£17 for the lad and me on the train from Stafford.
-
Told my lad the prices and even he said "we won't go dad, it's too expensive". Blades and Dingles before Xmas for us so it's happy and dads wallet isn't any lighter.

Villa is a local game for me but there is no way I'm paying £58 for my nipper and I to watch a game that is live on TV. Obscene prices.

Hull v Saints - Match thread and reactions

It actually feels weird being at the games and watching a solid, organised defensive display from Saints. I'm really not used to it! -
Where as the people running the club now keep quiet and let the football do the talking. I had little time for NC but he did an awesome job until his ego kicked in.
-
You'd have to be an utter bell end of mammoth proportions to question his ability. He's a step up from Boruc.
-
His time with us has come and gone I'm afraid.

What I can't get used to is how calm everyone is on the pitch. No panic, no drama just cool, calm and collective football. Bloody brilliant. -

Whilst I dont believe we will win the league I bloody loved singing that we would! -

We are staying with HCFC st holders this weekend are they are gushing in praise about Saints. Personally I thought it an excellent and dare I say, straightforward win but I was certainly very impressed by Hull. -
All it takes is dreams and ambition. Without them you end up on the mess we are in. Just dreams and ambition.

4th or win the LC and the cup gets the vote as you could easily be knocked out in a qualifying game in the CL. 3rd or win the LC brings a whole different dimension into play as you go straight into the group phase. Personally the silverware does it for me everytime.

F-i-L lives in Brough so staying up for the weekend. Fully expect to lose due to going out with loads of Hull ST holders on the Saturday night and doing a club ride with some on the Sunday.
-
Yep. I shall be smug with mine (as long as I get them via Northern Saints). Nipper and I apparently have a dental appointment the afternoon of the Blades game. Odd that.
-
Genius. Chance of progressing to a semi final of a cup but no, let's play a 2nd or 3rd choice keeper just to give our England international keeper a reminder. Real genius.

It's actually easier to get to the Brit' by coming of at J14 and going up the A34 to Trentham. Amazes me why people go up to J15. -

The A34/M40 roundabout is a joke at the moment. Took is 90mins to go 5 miles there on Monday. We left Stafford at 18.30, parked at a friends house in Trentham and walked in. Makes a nice change not to have to spend hours travelling! Skipped the traffic on the way out by heading through Barlaston instead of sitting in the queues by the temp' lights.
