  1. They weren't missed last time and they wouldn't be missed in the future.
  2. Can't say I'm particularly bothered. I'll still go and will do as long as I live. Owners, managers, players; they come and go. Only fans are there for life.
  3. Guly's done nowt wrong as far as I'm concerned. Unlike many, I don't need a whipping boy.
  4. He wants football in a World Cup season and he's obviously nothing above Championship level in the UK. He came, he tried, he goes home.
  5. Now that would be a Gucci signing!
  6. Apparently it all kicked off at the training ground on Friday when Jones blocked a player in (the name starting with A that I can't spell) and wouldn't move his car resulting in it getting a huge f**k off dent and plenty of subsequent argy bargy. He went out on the razzle in Manchester on Saturday night and spent Sunday shopping at the Trafford Centre.
  7. Whilst I'm neither bored or disappointed with where we are and where we are likely to stay I would love us to go balls out for the FA Cup.
  8. I'd ruin her for normal men.
  9. Ipad from about 50mins onwards & plenty of sweets and crisps.
  10. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-25589709
  11. Plenty would have seen the scout list doing the rounds on twitter for the Benfica / Porto game that has Saints listed. So, who were we watching?
  12. If he didn't play for Saints and you lot read than City were interested in paying £30m for a 18yo full back you'd be saying it's obscene money and he'd be going as it's such a good deal. Because he plays for Saints you consider £30m and insult and there is no way he should go. Perhaps Turkish's views on you lot are correct after all.
  13. So there are no LBs in world football, as good or not better than can be had for a damn sight less than £30m? Some of you lot are so detached from reality it's unreal. NO full back is worth £30m.
  14. He's a full back. £30m for a full back is utter insanity. Take it.
  15. He didn't have a great game yesterday. End of.
  16. I've a place on the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 closed road sportive on Sunday 10th August. It departs on waves between 06.00 - 08.00 from the Olympic Park and finishes on The Mall and riders have to register at the Excel centre on the 9th or 10th. The wife and kids have said that they'd like to make a weekend in London of it (Fri - Mon) and the dragon-in-law will most likely come down as well. So, bearing in mind that I have to leave from Stratford and finish outside Buck House could anyone suggest a good place to stay for 3 adults and 3 kids. We will be arriving by car as I'll have my bike. Cheers muchly.
  17. Anyone who doesn't watch it and understand that GR looks and picked out AL is an utter tool. I thought he did and the time but when you see it on the TV it's obvious.
  18. Totally and utterly agree.
  19. If he's fit. On Gaston, I'm in the "utter class" camp. I pity those who cannot see what he offers going forward. I don't want him having defensive duties, we have others for that. We opened up in the middle when he came on as Cork instead of Davies was taken off. SD, good player that he is, isn't nearly as good as JC in the holding role.
  20. Because we now have a manager who isn't scared to go for the win as opposed to being too scared to lose. It was a ballsy call but we needed more going forward & that will leave us light in the middle.
  21. That's exactly what we said, it was a ballsy decision.
  22. I like Webb, he allows a physical game. Lots of challenges were allowed today which plenty of other refs would have given as fouls.
  23. Looked a nothing challenge from where I was sat, but it clearly hurt Long.
  24. It's not all bad. My youngest daughter is going to SMS tomorrow and as I type this they are playing cricket.
