I wouldn't change a single thing as I really couldn't be happier.

His ticket at Anfield was a fiver, same as WBA. It's a tenner at Stoke & Arsenal. -

Thought my nipper would end up following Wolves or Stoke but no, he wanted to go with dad. That's how it'll work for you as well. My nipper is proud to be a Saint and proud to be the only one at his school. He loves the fact that he goes to games when all the plastics merely watch Sky and I could no longer go to a game without him, I'd feel lost without sharing the highs and lows with him. -

The desperate attempt to make Saturday a "family fun day" suggests they know perfectly well that they dropped a ******. -

I disagree. The pricing of junior tickets, over 11yo, is beyond the pale compared the vast majority of BPL clubs. Saints are pricing families out and I'm certainly not alone on here in going to fewer home games with my lad as a result. -

££. They've totally *****ed up the pricing from 11 upwards so people with kids are now going to less games and if it's on sky it's a no-brainer. Watch the game on the box and then us the cash for a different match. Not alone in going from attending every home game to only a few. -
It's Stoke. It's still the 1980s.

"sick".

Annual leave - it's what it's refered to here. Heads Up - Common forces expression so still used by me.

I live in Staffordshire so know what it's like to be a fair distance away from SMS but I still can't get my head why ANY fan, of ANY club, can support anyone but his hometown team or team that his/her dad/mum/grandparents followed. That's what some of us are saying. Turkish means, and I agree with him, a fan is someone, like yourself, who makes and effort to get to games as regularly as they can. A supporter is someone who could make the effort but CBA and thinks just watching it on MOTD is enough. -
Charities & the sh!ttest sponsorship effort you’ve ever seen?

As a family we already give to cancer charities via monthly donation, daughters have "adopted" animals through WWF and I raise money every November via eBay sales for H4H and RBL. However, the idea of completing a challenge that I know will test me to the limit, something I've never done before, whilst raising some coin for a worthy cause certainly, I believe, has its merits. -

I reckon by the end of it it'll feel as if I've done it on a razorblade! -

Yes mate. I'm doing a few next year with the intention of doing a 100miler towards the late summer for charity. -

I intend to do a 100mile sportive (my 1st attempt at 100m in a single go) in 2014 for the postrate cancer charity as it killed my father and then in a couple of years my friend & I are looking at doing John O'Groats to Lands End to raise 50k for a local childrens hospice up here in Staffordshire. I did Movember for a couple of years simply to raise awareness of mens' cancers and no doubt in the college plenty of the student and staff will have bad facial hair next month. As I don't shave now I've beaten them to it. -
Price. Simple as. Why pay over the odds for a game on Sky?
-
I'll trust Northern Saints to do their magic for my tickets. I've already booked our train down and 1 adult, 1 kids, plus our train from Stafford is less than an adult ticket at OT last weekend.

No, but many of us do find it hard to understand why anyone doesn't support their home town team or the team that dad took you to watch. Plenty of Saints fans, for example, have more time for a skate who was born on inbred island and has been going since a nipper, than we do for a plastic manc who has never been north of Winchester. I work with plenty of Stoke & Port Vale fans and wouldn't dream of giving them grief but I rip into the plastic Chelsea/Mans/Bin Dippers at every opportunity. -
Hope he does stay as I think he oozes class.

Yes.

I actually know exactly how much Gaston earns via a strange quirk and whilst it's still an awful lot of money, you are well over the mark with £200k.
-
If Juve want him then he'll go. He'd be nuts to turn down the biggest club in Italy.

It was at a time when the FAC actually meant something and you made an effort to be there.

A New Charge Against Southampton Football Club

I also think you are missing the huge increase in TV money. Unlike the great unwashed down the road, we are vigilant and also unlike them, we will be publishing our accounts. -
I'd agree with that. They've now got an anchor in the middle which has set their flair players free. Ozil is different league. Fantastic player.

I've just been reminded of how mental I went at OT when Beckham scored for England against Greece in the 93rd min right in front if us. That was special.
