Yorkshire CCC have done something similar at Leeds for international cricket. Divided the ground up, including the Western Terrace, so people can pick and choose how to watch the game and support their team. Personally I think it's a great idea & better than doing nowt.

Southampton the 4th crappest town in the UK

I haven't lived in Soton for over 20 years and my wife & kids are northeners by birth but they love Soton. What I love about the place is that it's still a proper working port and not a museum to a bygone age. I still get a buzz from watching the ships sailing up & down Soton Water. -
There were so many different bikes in and around the same price point, with such similar spec's and reviews, that it eventually came down to what I thought looked the best. Going for a fitting this weekend or next & then await delivery.

Spurs and Chelsea home games moved for TV
View From The Top replied to stevegrant's topic in The Saints
One of the main factors when we decided not to re-new our STs this year was the amount of games that get moved that we can't go to. Sunday/Monday games were out for us due to other sporting commitments. -
Considered by many as a top bit of kit for the ££.

There are elements of the extreme right of Islam that do want a harsh version of Sharia law imposed in the UK and are on the record stating that. The vast majority of Muslims simply go about their daily business but to suggest that places such as Luton, B'ham etc do not contain a vocal minority that support in imposition of Sharia is simply wrong.

Finally settled on this:

Southampton the 4th crappest town in the UK

York?? It's a lovely place & I'd happily live there. Anyone who thinks Soton is worse than Wolverhampron, West Brom, Walsall, Stoke etc is off their rocker. -
His issue has always been with radical Islam in the UK and not Islam the religion and the way that organisations such as the Muslim Council of England have failed to "police their own" or speak out against extreamism in a coherant or powerful way. I may think the bloke is a tool and the EDL a bunch of brain dead f**kwits but his message I understand and it resonates, like it or not, with a very large slice of the UK.

I'm doing one in 2 weeks so I'll be interested to see if we are less NIMBY up here!
-
Not at all this season.
-
That's the point. Non ST holders are being limited to home games only.
-
I'll be giving this a swerve due to not being prepared to pay the outrageous prices that Utd command so therefore expect to dip out on a rare Saints win!
-
That is exactly what we said! Limit away tickets in the hope of increasing home gates.
-
Enjoy looking at the league table for the next 2 weeks but don't expect to be seeing it like that come May!

Doesn't take much research regarding Miliband Snr and his views on the Falklands. It also doesn't take much intelligence to workout that if he had said anything even resembling the statements you made up that the Mail and other publications would have been very quick to publish them. They didn't because only in your limited mind were they even uttered.

Just accept the fact you were wrong, as you often are.

Teach you to buy that arse wipe of a paper.

I nipped in to the Specialized Concept store today and was pleasantly surprised when the chap suggested I nip down to their satellite site on the edge of Cannock Chase where they sell their used bikes including those that have been used as demos. Some good deals to be had so I might get a much better spec'd bike than I'd hoped for my original budget!

Would you ever give up being British?

'I won't write about the f****** Falklands now. It's a most depressing and bitter business and it seems to have turned Thatcher into a major political figure,' he said. 'I mean that her brand of Toryism may now come to predominate. The Falklands has served her well . . . if she is returned at the next election England will look a very different country than even in 1979.' No references to anything that you mention regarding death of our forces but hey, it's not as if you haven't got form for being a Grade A c**t and making things up but scurrying away back under your rock when you can't back it up.

As I teach in the city I'll be getting absolute pelters if we don't get a draw or win! Great price as well. Adult & kids ticket for Stoke is less than an adults tickets for Utd.

Nice. Me likes.
