11, 8 & 6. It's never a case of loving one more than the other. I worship my 3 in equal measure. I pity those without kids as they are the greatest gift ever.

You norvern monkey.

I believe that we could, genuinely, win a cup & that'll do me nicely.

Agreed.

Lurch no, move towards, yes.

He led our country into an illegal war based on lies and 1000s paid for his "conviction" with their lives. He should be on trial in The Hague. Whilst I despised Thatcher at least see sent men to war based on a truth and clearly felt the weight of that responsibility.

Dry your eyes tory boy, for some of us it's something to savor.

They eat carp so no way they are putting them back. -
What's the problem? Blair is a war criminal with the blood of tens of thousands of innocent Iraq civilians on his hands plus our own troops. I'll treat his death with utter contempt as well.

Personally I only like the crest part of our badge & wouldn't mind a rebranding & again, personally, I'd like to see the city crest used. I've no major issues with changing it, Wolves have done so with their countless times & none I know mither about it as they have the wolfs head as their emblem much in the same way the Liver Bird or Gun represent Liverpool & Arsenal no matter what the badge does. Perhaps it's a recognisable emblem we lack??

Problem is that government has washed their hands of it via the Academy system whilst cutting out local authorities. When very liberal and, frankly, wishy washy unions like the ATL call for action, then you know it's bad. In all the years I've been involved, they usually just tut loudly!

Top put down.

So 1 good game and he's the future of England? He's utter, utter gash. A striker who can't score or a winger who can't cross. None of my Utd ST holding mates rate him and they see him whenever he's picked. He's worse than Adam Johnson, and that takes some doing.

He's utter sh,ite

I work in an area where parents, mainly Asian, are desperate for their kids to get into the excellent B'ham grammar schools and the amount they shell out in tuition fees is scary. The local schools that aren't utter sh.it have house prices way, way, way above the local averages in the catchment areas. It almost becomes self fulfilling as the sh.it schools get the absolute dross as students and have a massive staff turnover and the new staff are usually NQT and usually last 2/3 years before moving on. Despite millions being chucked at academy new builds, up here, nowt has changed as the intake hasn't changed. Whilst I'm personally against fee paying schools I fully understand why parents, when robbed of genuine choice, resort to it.

The title of this thread makes me smile every time I come into The Lounge.

Realistic target placing next season - current squad?

Now we look safe investment in playing staff needs to be swift and only focused on our weak areas IMHO. -
As soon as they fail to pay him, winding up order.

Whilst the way NC disposed of NA services left a bitter taste his judgement does seem an awful lot better than mine!

Thinking of it, the UKIP position now with the tories is very akin to SD back then with Labour.

in '79 I believe the totals are split by about 400 votes & if you cannot grasp why for the only time in post war history Itchen had been blue then you're not as bright as I've always assumed. It's no accident that Itchen remained red in the last election.
-
That is simply incorrect. Bob Mitchell held the Itchen seat in '79 & only lost it in '83 when the left wing vote was split between Mitchell who had moved over the the Social Democrats and Denham who was the (L) candidate. The vote was still split in '87. As soon as the SD vote was off the scene, uniting the vote of the left (L) was voted back in. Thankfully Itchen was always been left of center bar the '83 & '87 elections.

Despite my utter contempt for the woman, a minutes silence should be for major disasters or folks with strong links to the club or national team.
