I thought it was common knowledge that Barclays had refused to extend the overdraft in January and that's when the cost cutting started. Of course, they'll tell us everything is rosey in the garden.

We all know that you've never been wrong regarding transfers, takeovers, new ground and new training ground so we await, with baited breath, your every utterance regarding pfc.

I'm more interested in what Maradona is going to do with Riquleme once he arrives.

As I live over 150 miles away and teach in a college I can tell you what plenty of fans think (the lads are always happy to talk football). A) SFC are a average sized provincial club with a Premier League set up and will be back now Lowe has gone. B) PFC are an average sized CCC with a shi t set up and when they fall out of the EPL are going to be in massive trouble but have loud fans at FP. C) No one outside of Hampshire really gives a shiney sh it about either.

I fully expect automatic promotion IF we keep SJ and GR.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/2009/07/26/harry-grabs-10m-peter-115875-21548149/ Peter Crouch will complete a £10million move from Portsmouth to Tottenham tomorrow following a day of high drama at Fratton Park yesterday. Tottenham finally made their move for the towering England striker on Friday after he turned down moves to both Sunderland and Fulham. But after rejecting an initial opening offer of £8m from chairman Daniel Levy, Tottenham went back in for Crouch 24 hours later. They were then given permission to open talks with the player after having a £10m bid accepted. Crouch is set to sign a five-year deal at White Hart Lane worth £70,000 a week. It brings to an end Harry Redknapp's pursuit of a recognised marksman to bolsters Tottenham's attack and reunites Crouch with Jermain Defoe, who also quit Pompey in January in a £15m deal. Pompey boss Paul Hart said last night: "Obviously I'm disappointed to see Peter leave, but given the severe financial restraints in place here we had no choice but to accept an offer from Tottenham. "I think people need to realise that Pompey have been punching way above their weight and could no longer sustain the level of spending that has gone on here over the past three years. And even though a new owner is poised to come in, our dealings in the market will be modest in comparison to the past." Crouch's departure is unlikely to be the last from Fratton Park this summer. Defender Nadir Belhadj is expected to open talks with Hull over a proposed £5m move and forward John Utaka is considering a £6m transfer to Premier League rivals Stoke City. But Hart is expected to move swiftly into the transfer market towards the close of this week. Former Liverpool defender Steve Finnan will arrive on a free transfer from Spain. And experienced striker Mark Viduka is expected to announce that he has put off plans to retire by agreeing to move to Pompey. Hart is also expected to make an offer for West Brom captain Jonathan Greening, who has been the subject of two failed bids from Fulham. The Pompey boss will also weigh up whether to follow up interest in Reading midfielder Stephen Hunt. The Ireland international is modestly priced at £3.5m.

Spot on, but you've always been one of the less retarded skates. :---)

Let's not forget the New York Times. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/09/business/global/09property.html?pagewanted=1&_r=1&8au&emc=au

I can only do Saturday games due to teaching on Tuesday evenings but with a kids season ticket for free it made sense to get one for the nipper and I. I want to be there at the start of a new dawn for SFC.
-
LOL at the thick skate bast ards. Maradonna walking away from Argentina with less that 12 months to the World Cup. LOL.
-
As SFC aren't likely to be playing England I have no issue following either. That said, I'd put England to win the World Cup beyond anything for SFC.

19C would get on well with him since they were/are both head mentalists.

There is a siren, situation on top of a large grey metal pole, on the small green at the top of Dell Rd by The Castle Pub, or at least used to be.
-
Good man. I hadn't forgotten. :-#

I get the impression that you think your club might be a wee bit fu cked. It certainly looks on iffy ground as an outsider looking in.
-
The moral of the story is don't be fu cking stupid enough to take 4 on at once. Daft sod.
-
Sums it up perfectly IMHO.
-
Mid table as a minimum.

I think pointing out that they speak Dutch and not German thanks to our Grandfathers would also go help ease the situation.

Can't say I'm not gutted that it isn't WGS (my wishful thinking) it's a very good appointment for the position we find ourselves. Everything is turning out just fine!
-
My season tickets and Ajax tickets have arrived! :-)
-
If we appoint WGS I think I'll cry with happiness and FWIW, which isn't a lot, I believe we will appoint him for a number of reasons of which the primary reason is that it suits him. He'll have no pressure on him as he would in the EPL to produce instant result.

It tends to be the thick mongs in deadbeat jobs that envy those with an education.
-
Same here. Rather ****es on NCs and GMs parade as they were spouting off how people like us would find reason not to go and how Lowe was just an excuse.

It's just been confirmed that I'm teaching on a Tuesday evening next season. :-(
