  1. I'd go along with all of that. A helicopter trip is a must and as I'm a military geek, a trip to Peal Harbour was a must and didn't disappoint from that respect. For a few quid more you could have gone to the Society Islands. Then I would have been seriously jealous as it's somewhere I'd LOVE to go back to.
  2. I think the Brighton goal is the most mental I've ever gone whilst watching Soccer Saturday or listening to Solent. Nipper and I went batsh1t mental and as we were BBQing at the time the whole of Stafford heard us. My Wolves supporting neighbour popped his head over the fence, simply gave us a big grin and the thumbs up and left me to be bollo_cked by the Mrs for being too loud.
  3. All mine have been mentioned. Moran at Fratton is top, followed by MLT against Arsenal, Brett in the semi & SRL at Millwall.
  4. It was utter carnage and a very cathartic experience.
  5. It's not even in the same universe of hurt as Adrian stumpyc**t Heath!
  6. That's it. Part of me died that day.
  7. Do the Portway & the Burway. You'll pray for death I've a good GPX of the Nova Raiders (Newport) 66miler going out that way if you want it. It's their sportive route, it's a goodun.
  8. I rode the flatest 50km (there is flatter but it's a busy dual carriageway) I could find last night as I'm out with the wife tomorrow. It still came in at 400m+.
  9. I've no chance but will have a pop regardless. The climbing one is just a single ride really.
  10. My Mrs is gutted about Kittel, he's her eye candy.
  11. 'Kin hell, do you muppets believe everything peddled by the London media and SSN whether good or bad?
  12. Every stage can be watched live on ITV4 or Eurosport including Eurosport Player which is about £5.
  13. Romain Bardet to take both the polka-dot and white jerseys. Can't see past Sagan for green and yellow is simply to close to call.
  14. He's been struggling health wise all year. Spinning squares.
  15. I'd go along with that totally.
  16. Now that is really sad.
  17. My Mrs is torn between Nibali and Alberto. Myself, I prefer the one day races so have no preference but our house goes a bit mental when Cav is in a sprint finish.
  18. I don't think it's possible anywhere near us is it? I did the flattest route I know today for a 50km recovery ride and it was still over 400m.
  19. It's not hard is it. It's called money and lots of it.
  20. I feel your pain. Cracked my collar bone going over on ice late winter, that was bad enough.
  21. Cycling is a funny sport. I ride with some lads who when they put the power on can ride me off the wheel but can't live with me or my usual partners on anything over 75km. Friend of mine, a Cat 2 racer, is a machine on anything up to about 60km but is pathetic after that and yet another is crap on the short stuff but an absolute monster on anything long and uphill. We are racing on Sunday and 2 of us, the diesel engines, have been allocated the task of staying in the break from the off. It's going to be painful.
  22. That's not pretend that the club didn't tell him that he could go at the end of the season. He's been open about wanting to play UCL football, not about leaving Saints.
